Makaila Curtis

Makaila Curtis currently works at Brando’s Fun N’ Sun Travel & Cruise on Main Street in Safford, Arizona. Makaila began her career as a travel expert during 2023, but prior to selling travel, gained knowledge through personal experience by traveling much of the continental United States by vehicle, and working at Renaissance Festivals all over the country. Formerly a bench work jeweler at various festivals and artisan’s markets, she traveled to, and lived in many major US cities including Denver CO, St. Paul MN, Santa Barbara CA, and Kansas City KS, to name a few. After Covid closed many of the events she attended she turned her experiences into industry knowledge and now assists in planning vacations, not only in her hometown, but internationally through Avoya Travel. Currently she has become a Certified Travel Agent and an ASTA member. Specialties include Princess, Carnival, Celebrity, Norwegian, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Accessible Travel, Disney Parks, Tours, and Cruises, and guided tours. Growing up in a small town in Arizona meant that I HAD to travel, in order to see Live music, Museums, Theme Parks, and Shopping experiences. However, I also developed a love of nature, and have also traveled in order to Camp, Hike, and visit Natural Hot-Springs. Formerly I traveled for business when I worked as a Jeweler's Apprentice and attended Renaissance Festivals and Artisans Markets across the United States, traveling by vehicle with a restored vintage camper. I've been to 26 states, Ensenada Mexico on a Carnival Cruise, and recently returned from a trip to Alaska with Princess Cruises. One thing traveling has taught me is there is something new to experience everywhere.
