“Not our cup of tea”

We are avid ocean cruisers but thought we would like to see more of the interior of Europe. We also love only packing/unpacking once during a trip so a river cruise seemed the logical next trip. The personnel on the Viking Jarl were very friendly & enthusiastic (they were the highlight of our trip).
We did not think that the tour guides on most of our excursions (both those included & those we paid for additionally) were particularly good and some were not good at all.
We enjoy some private time which is not possible on a River boat. The only place to sit in your cabin is on the bed. We had

This was a fabulous vacation with three of my girlfriends. The boat was lovely, very comfortable. The service staff so friendly and attentive. We had a lot of fun with them. The food outstanding, entertainment too. The excursions were informative and not too tiring. I'll defiantly be considering another river cruise soon.

This was amazing. Even thought the river was down and we had to bus to last location- it was fantastic. actually wonderful to see the countryside. Food and service as always on Viking Impeccable!!
