I have extensive knowledge of the cruising industry and many of the ports of call. In addition, my husband and I travel to Europe as often as we can to visit his family. We have toured many Eastern European countries as well as Ireland. After starting a family, I decided to stay closer to home. The South Pacific is my favorite region to visit, the landscape of New Zealand is breathtaking! Scuba diving in Bora Bora is incredible! One of the most unique places I have visited in the South Pacific was Easter Island. While there, I found a local archeologist who took us on a tour around the island and gave us access to some of the famous sights there. His knowledge of the ancient culture was amazing, and we learned so much we wouldn't have by exploring on our own. We were able to see cave paintings of Manutara in Ana Kai Tangata, petroglyphs carved in the stones in the Orongo ceremonial village and the Moai quarry at Rano Raraku. Next up on my Bucket List...The Galapagos!
