River travel in challenging in the constantly changing physical conditions. Ama Waterways was excellent at adapting and being fair in the substitutions they made.

This was the first time we went on a River Cruise and we were extremely pleased! Boat was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Meals were delicious and plentiful! The tours were very good although one of our couples did a bike ride in the region of Monet's gardens and home in Giverny, and they had to ask to be able to quickly get in to see the gardens. Hopefully this can be changed to add entry to the Gardens. Staff on the boat was very friendly and helpful! They really helped us have a superlative time. On boat evening entertainment was great too!

Everything was perfect on our tour.

AMA did the small things very well. However, significant stomach sickness among the ship's guests was not dealt with appropriately by staff.

All parts were fantastic and we really enjoyed things. Minor details could be tweaked but all in all we had a great trip.

Almost perfect - cleanliness, friendliness of staff & competent, wonderful food, good wine, trips interesting.

The four of us agreed it was first class and one of the best vacations ever. Everyone on the ship was helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

The ship was by far the best one on the river as we went down stream...friends of ours were on another ship and did not have nearly as much fun as we did...the whole crew were well trained in customer satisfaction from the start to the end...Kris(sp?) the cruise manager was extremely helpful to us in arranging separate travel as we departed for a week on land in Germany...

This was our second AMA cruise and we found it delightful. My only complaint would be that the ship's officers tell passengers not to run on the deck before 9:00 in the morning, but do nothing to ask passengers returning to their cabins late at night to be quiet in the hallways to keep from disturbing those who go to bed earlier.

It was amazing! They bent over backward to make sure we had a great time.

Only had one problem which we feel could have been handled in a more professional manner by the cruise company. The cruise and the itinerary were great as was the cruise director.

Our river cruise was wonderful. The ship was new and comfortable and the crew was friendly and efficient.

The service was superb, the staff friendly and very efficient. The tours were well planned and the guides very knowledgeable. The cruise director took care of everything.

AMA was fantastic. As a single woman travelling alone I was a bit concerned about fitting in, but the crew were welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times. The walking tours were interesting and well planned. The meals were wonderful and the flexible seating meant I met lots of people, while the small size of the cruise met I really got to make friends. The cabin, even on the third level, was comfortable and bright. I plan to take another AMA cruise.

Best vacation ever. Cities and Villages were fabulous and the cruise up the Danube was gorgeous. The agenda had a perfect allocation of time between cruising and site seeing. And our bike ride from Durnstein to Melk was an absolutely beautiful trip. All of the AMA staff were great. The ship and cabins were wonderful. We will definitely travel with AMA again.
