Our Avalon cruise directer, Christine, went above and beyond what was her daily job to make sure that we were able to see and do all we were promised despite extenuating circumstances.

We loved the boat, our room, the food the crew and the tours.

Avalon was great

great accommodations and staff. Had a couple of disappointments with some excursions.

The boat was beautiful. Food was excellent. We have travelled Avalon before and find them a step above the rest.

I would recommend both. The tour company planned an incredible trip and the cruiseline was exceptional. We commented numerous times on a daily basis how wonderful everything was.

Same reason. I thought that a lot of the food offered at dinner time was rather mediocre - the rice was always very dry and served often. The beef was not good - although that may be because of the way they feed their cattle in Europe. People who traveled on other cruise lies felt that their food was excellent. On a brighter note, I thought the breakfasts were very good and lunches were better than dinners. The cruise personnel were excellent and I enjoyed the entertainment. Our cabin was quite nice and comfortable. Also, the passengers were very friendly.

Avalon was recommended and was above expectations.
