On a transatlantic cruise you never know what to expect. From Florida to France, we had high winds and rough seas. The Zuiderdam and her fabulous crew handled the weather remarkably well. Everything was excellent from the food to the service to the beautiful ship. Particularly excellent crew members were Restaurant Steward Mico and his very artistically gifted assistant Danny. We have never received finer service or better entertainment!!!

Aside from 1 bad weather day all was wonderful

The ship had just come come off dry/wet dock for an entire update. Our suite was beautiful. Gone are those awful orange couches. But, the air conditioning was horrible. Very cold some places and in our room we had black stuff coming out of the vent right on our bed. Many got tick from the ventilation system including me who got off with double pneumonia. Was quite well when I got on the ship. We took this cruise for the foodie things, but it ended up that there were very few foodie things. Some of the ports were disappointing, like Panama. They actually told us not to get off in Panama. We

The shore excursion to the ostrich farm on Caracao was fabulous. Our stateroom stewards Pramono and Davit went out of their way to help me manage with my limited mobility. My only negative comment is about the accessible washrooms. The doors on several of them did not work and I would be stranded inside.

The perfect way to see both Canada, New England and Florida.

Called many times from cruiseline to confirm shipboard credit. Left ship still having shipboard credit incorrect. Ship not fit for travel. Many concerns with cleanliness and ship being In working order.

Holland America was a delight. I enjoyed the cruiseline and the amenities given.

It was a good value for the money and they did a great job on the pre and post cruise parts of the trip..

we are HAL cruisers mostly. The food was great. The ship needed some updating and work. The touring from HAL was not good and I would not waste my money to do that again.

There was only one restaurant serving dinner and lots of people with open table schedule. Every time we went to eat they give us a pager. We like to eat early. Most times they said that we have to share the table with other people. I don't like to be talking while I eat there are better times to be social. Also they put 10 people in a table and with such a big group dinner last more than 2 hours.

We like the service we receive with Holland America cruise lines. A bit of an older crowd but we like the slow paced vacation.

Holland America had delicious food, excellent service and daily Mass. They offered a Kids Club for my grandchildren. We loved the ports the cruise visited. We will definitely cruise with them again.

Everything about this ship stunk especially the service and the excursion that we took.

The ship had maintenance issues and the passengers were a little older than what I was expecting.
