It was our choice to sail with NCL.....we were not impressed with our verandah cabin...it was old and plain looking......not sure we would select that cruise line for another cruise.

Liked NCL very much. While our ship was a bit older (Spirit) we had a comfortable, clean room. LOVED the freestyle dining and the food was actually very good. Would suggest two of the speciality restaurants - LaTrattor and Cagneys. The French restaurant was just okay. The NCL tours were very good.

I think the paint job on the outside of the ship made the ship look like a low budget cruise. With this being my first cruise I don't know if I was on a low budget cruise or not, but I thought the princess ships looked like they had more class.

The food was great, the entertainment was fun, but the childcare was not very good- our kids did not like it. We also did not like being frequently bombarded with marketing and sales pitches (photos, art, liquor, duty-free, jewelry, future trips, etc. etc.).
