Love Alaska, scenery is breath taking and traveling the inner passage is incredible. we love the free style cruising, we hate to be tied to specific times for dinner

It was our 1st time on NCL and compared to RCCL or DCL it was not the same quality. Food quality was not as good and service was poor. I think with the freestyle - which I love bc of flexibility - you lose some of the personal connections with the staff. Everyone is just doing what they need to do to get their job done. Nothing near like you find on the other comparable lines. The ship was nice and the excursions were amazing.

The Jewel is a 'just the right sized' ship. Big enough to have many venues for food and entertainment but no so big that one must wait in lines for everything. The itinerary was very nice. I personally enjoyed the South Island more because the vistas were breathtaking and the population was more sparse. Took several of the ship offered excursions which were mostly well done, but was disappointed that Puffing Billy excursion was cut from 2 hour ride to 1/2 hour ride and a longer stop to the Santuary was added in Wellington. We enjoyed the cruise as we always do!! Being able to eat when and where is why we cruise NCL many times over the years!! and the entertainment is always excellent!! I loved our recent Alaskan sojourn, we went into a penthouse aft suite the service was impeccable we where truly blessed to have a team of dedicated staff to attend our every need the scenery was breathtaking and the locals so friendly, it should be on everyone bucket list it was amazing.

Did not like NCL

Ended within 36 hours. Bad customer service. Expensive.

It was a good trip but as far as the entertainment on board. It seemed to be lacking.

I enjoyed both Carnival and NCL.

The cruise was nice but I preferred the other cruise lone we used better.
