The cruise from Athens to Barcelona was a wonderful experience. The excursions were great, the food was delicious and the ship was beautiful. On a couple of our excursions, it seemed that the itineraries were changed from what we had originally signed up for. It wasn’t a game changer, just not what had been listed. We did feel that sometimes the service was lacking. We had to ask to get drinks or refills. Many times glasses sat empty for long periods of time before we could get anyone’s attention to ask. We felt many times that there was a lack of communication among the wait staff. We were in Suite 800, which is a Penthouse C on the front of the ship. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious, but being in the front, the balcony wall is too high to be able to see out, if sitting down. An easy fix would be high top furniture, at least on the balcony. I would not pick that location again. Our butler, Joshua and room attendant, Emmalyn, were both excellent. Making our entire trip a truly wonderful experience was Sue Scaletta, our Avoya agent!

The ship is beautiful and the service is exceptional. All the crew are so genuinely welcoming and helpful. The food is delicious in all the food venues, but absolutely marvelous in Compass Rose and Pacific Rim. Our cabin was so well thought out and comfortable that even longer cruises would not be a problem. Our only suggestions would be the excursions on the islands. They were below expectations for Regent; the transportation was sub-standard and they were boring. After the first stop we decided to stay on board the ship for the remainder of the cruise. We did do the Cooking Class on board which was wonderful.

We loved the Ship Splendor. The room suite 1010 was beautiful and comfortable. The butler Ravi couldn’t have been better in any way! The suite care takers did an excellent job daily! Our only complaint was the food wasn’t as great as on our previous Regent or Oceania cruises. I feel that perhaps the cooking staff just didn’t have it down as well as in the past. Beef was never as good as we have enjoyed on your ships before.

I am aware that the small print on the contract that you sign when you book your cruise Reads that they may change their destinations along the way. In our case, 40% of the destinations, stops, were eliminated. Some were changed and others were just skipped. It was an enormous disappointment to me, as I had been to many of the stops and the ones that they canceled/changed were stops that I really wanted to see or go back to. I have never allowed my children to lie to me ( knowingly ), And so when the captain got on the PA and told us that they were skipping our last stop which was San Malo because of tides, I knew that it was just a cost cutting measure. Tides can be predicted decades in advance. The stop was labeled a “tender“ port anyway, and other ships were going in all day and during the times we would’ve been there as well. Even those region employees at the desk admitted that they just didn’t want to tinder and it was cheaper to go to Le Havre. Le Havre is not a proper cruise ship destination at all. All in all, the ship was beautiful. The food was great. However, I can stay in my own beautiful home and have caterers every day without the disappointment of the itineraries created after we had already arrived in Monte Carlo. I felt cheated out of seeing these ports as well as the cost of the trip and the disappointment of the cancellations by the captain.

The ship was beautiful and well appointed, the food was fantastic, the staff was excellent, but I don’t know if we will go on another Regent Cruise after this because the featured stop that caused us to book the cruise was dropped for truly unbelievable reasons. We were supposed to stop in San malo France and we had booked a tour to Mont Saint Michel. The day before this stopped, it was announced that because of tides the destination would be changed to Le Havre France and the tours would be canceled. Since tides are forecast years in advance, and the weather was the same in Le Havre as Saint malo, it appears that the only reason for skipping that stop was that they did not want to tender as opposed to doc. The call was made by headquarters, or so the staff said. And, there is no reason to believe that the tides or the weather had anything to do with it. As it turned out, we were told that the last several cruises on the same itineraries had experienced the same last minute change. Why would one sign up for a trip if supports were of no interest and if the porch who won was interested in or subject to very casual omission?

The accommodations are more than anyone could ask for. What a bathroom, what a closet! The staff was excellent and very friendly. It was so nice not to have addition fees for this and that. Their all inclusive means just that. The laundry service is such a nice perk. All in all a trip we will enjoy over and over again. We will cruise with Regent again. They have spoiled us!

They have brought on a new crew with repositioning and it showed. Still very nice crew just didn’t seem to be very knowledgeable

Service was great as always. Love having a butler and the "free" laundry. Thought the quality of the food wasn't up to previous Regent trips. Someone should teach Compass Rose staff to make toast that doesn't taste like floor tile.

This was the first Regent Cruise I took and I was very impressed. Because it was during Covid there were a lot of restrictions and a mask mandate. The limit of passengers was only 450 (normal 750), testing was done at the port and masks were required for all cruisers and staff. Everything about the cruise was first class and enjoyed by all.

Heard nothing but awesome news but I didn’t know what to expect. The staff spoiled us beyond belief and we made friends with which we’re planning the next cruise. Worth every $$.

Beautiful ship and great service and food. Will continue to sail Regent Seven Seas. Two more cruises booked.

Everything about the cruise was excellent. The post cruise hotel could have been better.
