About Me — Beth Petrie Travel has always been more than just a job for me—it’s a way of life. I’ve been fortunate to experience so many corners of the world, and my favorite forms of travel are cruising and camping. I’ve sailed on more than 50 cruises with various cruise lines, exploring the Caribbean, Alaska, Mexico, and Hawaii. Last year I fulfilled my dream of sailing through the Mediterranean, visiting Italy, Spain, and France, and I also made my 6th trip to Alaska. This year I’ll be traveling to Costa Rica and Hawaii, with a few more cruises along the way. I love the American West. The Black Hills of South Dakota remain one of my favorite destinations, while the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Park continue to take my breath away each time I visit. Internationally, Italy has stolen my heart and is now my favorite European destination. I also dream of experiencing a river cruise through Europe in the near future. After 39 years in the travel industry, I can honestly say I don’t just book travel—I live it.
