Ever since I was a young child, I had a curiosity for what lied beyond the comforts of home. Passing the airport in our home town, I would offer dream of all the places people were flying. In the early days of online travel bookings, I found planning trips for my own family both challenging and rewarding.
In my early teens, my passion extended beyond just my family when I began planning our annual ski trip for the scout troop. At the age of 15, I set off on a European adventure of my own to the United Kingdom and the Netherlands which validated my love for the world. In my late teens, I planned a graduation trip for my senior class and a church trip to discover the wonders of Italy. Throughout college and my adult life, I continued to plan travel for family trips, spring breaks with friends, and weekend getaways with loved ones.
Travel has been in my DNA from a very young age and what I discovered is travel planning was something I was not only good at, it was something that excited me. I discovered I enjoyed planning the journey just as much as the journey itself. At the end of every trip, there was an emptiness that was only filled by the desire to plan the next adventure.
