Judy Bassett

I have a passion for meeting new people and traveling to new areas of the world. I have traveled throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and the United States. I've worked as an executive and consultant in government and healthcare and have traveled extensively both personally and professionally. My passion for travel only grew stronger, leading to the desire to design exceptional travel experiences for her friends and family, and now extending to others through my independent agency, Journeys Enchanted. As an adventurer in life, I have has scuba-dived in Florida’s springs and coasts, the Caribbean, and in the waters surrounding every Hawaiian island. I've got a commercial, instrument-rate pilot rating, and have flown for business and pleasure around the southeast U.S. or Caribbean; or traveling thousands of miles in months-long RV trips around the U.S. with our cats and a dog. My husband, Dan, and I have visited many of the country’s national parks, forests, and monuments. My expertise in tailoring trips for various preferences and travel styles. I usually have taken “the road less traveled,” in planning her own and her extended family’s trips, sometimes enlisting the help of private tour guides and “off-the-beaten path” experiences, which have provided a "beyond the tourist" view of places visited. I love getting to know the people of a particular area visited, and learning about the culture.
