My passion for travel started at a young age with family trips to Disneyland and Southern California, where I first experienced the magic of exploring new places. When I got married, my wife and I wanted to expand destinations, and we have benefited from each trip, sharing adventures together as a couple and with our growing family. Over the years, friends and family became inspired by our vacations, asking for advice and even joining us on group trips. That love for travel—and the joy of helping others plan their own experiences—naturally evolved into something bigger. While finishing my MBA during the pandemic, my wife and I realized that a travel business was our future. While on a Couples Vacation in Fort Lauderdale, we watched families, couples, and groups creating unforgettable moments. Seeing travelers' excitement and watching cruise ships sailing in and out of the port sparked something in me. That moment led me to write my MBA capstone paper on our future business, find the perfect host agency with Avoya Travel, and become affiliated with the Travel Leaders Network Consortia. I also dove deep into supplier training, learning how industry leaders craft the best experiences for their guests. Today, that passion has grown into FlyAway Pear Travel Services, where we help travelers plan and experience their dream vacations. Over the years, we’ve expanded, welcoming additional travel advisors who help us guide our Travel Friends (clients) in planning their NEXT land or cruise vacation. For me, travel is about more than just seeing new places—it’s about connection. Whether it’s experiencing different cultures, embracing new landscapes, or stepping outside your comfort zone, every trip is an opportunity to learn, grow, and create lasting memories.
