Always cruised with RCCL Explorer needs refurbishing, Did mot like My time dining at all. Service was very slow.Also takes 2 and half to get there but returning only 1 and a half days. Not enough time on the island. I realize the want you to spend your money on board but We took the Bermuda trip because we love the island.

royal caribbean has nice ships and very accommodating staff. ship was getting a bit dated but was extremely clean. i did inquire about upgrading to a balcony or window and found the price extremely prohibitive - there isn't a lot of flexibility with upgrading after you book, in my opinion.

There was plenty of activities to do on the ship. The crew was very friendly and accommidating. The shows were great, especially the ice show. Great costumes! There were a few things we weren't happy about. Someone spilled something in the Windjammer resturant and nobody cleaned it up. People (including crew members) continued for quite some time to walk through it, making it worse. Also, the majority of the food was the same every day. A little variety would have been nice, like doing themes.

The ship (Explorer of the Seas) was a bit too crowded for us, but we still enjoyed it. I think I prefer a smaller ship, one with less people and less crowded elevators.
