Your 14-night Seabourn expedition begins in Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland. Established in 874, Reykjavík spent centuries as a small farming settlement. Today, it has a population of around 200,000 people and is the top cultural, shopping, dining, music, and history destination in the country.
After departing from Reykjavík, your luxury cruise will continue to Grundarfjordur, a small fishing village to the north. The village is surrounded by beautiful mountains and national parks that are waiting to be explored. In the summer months, you can also watch Viking re-enactments in the town center for an exciting, historical experience.
On day two, the cruise visits Vigur Island, a renowned spot for viewing Iceland's magnificent nesting bird colonies, which can be spotted on the surrounding cliffs. It is also the site of the country's oldest house which dates back to the Viking age.
After departing from the north coast of Iceland, it's off to the shores of Greenland. Your first stop will be the small town of Ittoqqortoormiit on Scoresby Sund, which bears the distinction of being the largest fjord in the world. This 500-person town is rich in Greenlandic culture and known for its colorful red, green, blue, and yellow buildings.

On day four, venture deeper into Scoresby Sund to one of the most remote wildlife regions on earth. You might be able to spot wildlife like foxes on your way to the picturesque icebergs at Rødefjord. Here, 300-million-year-old red sandstone cliffs rise out of the water.
Next, you’ll disembark on Røde Ø, a monolithic island that provides incredible views over the glistening glaciers. The cruise continues through Scoresby Sund the next day, passing by scenic Bear Island and Sydkap point.
Then, it's on to picturesque cruising through King Oscar Fjord for even more of Greenland's dramatic views and geological panoramas. That same day, the cruise passes through Alpe Fjords in Northeast Greenland National Park, which are frequented by muskoxen.
Day seven begins with a visit to Ella Island, a rugged and rocky location with vertical cliffs that jut 4,000 feet into the sky. Later in the day, set sail further north to Blomster Bugt, which translates to "Flower Bay," named for its beautiful and colorful flowering plants.
The last stop in Greenland is the Kejser Franz Joseph Fjord, one of the country's largest fjord systems. Here, travelers will have the chance to see seals, beluga whales, walruses, narwals, caribou, and even polar bears.
After departing from Kejser Franz Joseph Fjord, Seabourn Venture will spend a day at sea. This will provide guests with the opportunity to relax and experience some more of the ship's luxurious amenities and entertaining onboard activities.
Launched in July 2022, Seabourn Venture features 132 ocean-front suites, providing every guest with unparalleled views out over the water. Each area of the ship is thoughtfully designed with modern but elegant touches, and two restaurants provide gourmet dining options to rival the world's top culinary experiences.

Guests can also visit the Discovery Center for natural history and culture education programming, the Bow Lounge for incredible marine life viewing opportunities, and the Constellation Lounge for even more breathtaking views.
One of the most unique features of Seabourn Venture is the Seabourn Submarines. Available for an additional cost, this ultra-luxury perk gives guests a chance to explore beneath the surface of the water to a depth of 984 feet.
The Seabourn expedition cruise continues to Akureyri in Northern Iceland. With a population of 18,000, it is the second-largest urban area in the country and has a rich culture that you can experience through the many museums and galleries. It is also situated at the head of Iceland's largest fjord, Eyjafjörður.
The next day, the luxury cruise visits the remote village of Seydisfjordur, surrounded by mountains and waterfalls, where travelers can sign up to dive down to a shipwreck off the coast.

Day 12 takes travelers for a morning visit to Papey Island, situated three miles off Iceland's eastern coast. Choose from two fantastic excursions to explore the surrounding waters either by kayak or by submarine.
Then, it's off to Heimaey Island, the largest of Iceland's Westman Islands, situated off the south coast. This port offers an array of onshore excursions, including a restaurant and brewery tour, an ATV adventure over the rugged terrain, a visit to the SEA LIFE Trust Beluga Whale Sanctuary, and more.
Finally, the luxury cruise arrives back in Reykjavik, where you can end your adventure with a visit to the famous Blue Lagoon Retreat or a spectacular helicopter ride to the Langjokull glacier.
