Azamara Cruises - Azamara Onward Reviews

Our first time cruising with Azamara, and we had outstanding service and the food was incredible. We enjoyed the excursions, musicians onboard and local talent that provided entertainment. The itinerary was what sold us on Azamara, and we like the smaller ship size.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 11 day cruise! I think the communication prior to the trip could’ve included more information about what we could expect as this was our very first cruise. More importantly, we found that the cocktails that were included with our package had a reasonable list of choices, however, the ability of the bartenders to make them correctly Was seriously lacking. We ordered daiquiris of different flavors on different occasions and not once did they make it correctly. For instance, we each ordered a different daiquiri and when we tasted them, one was absolutely way too sour and the other one was absolutely way too sweet. A blended daiquiri is one of the easiest things in the world to make if you know your proportions. Also, when we ordered Mojito’s, they also lacked balance. There was fresh mint in them, but not enough to give the drink any flavor and on different occasions when we ordered them, they were made differently by different bartenders.I don’t know what kind of training these guys get, but it was obvious that it wasn’t enough. After the first few days we gave up on trying to enjoy cocktails. We switched the beer and wine. The wine that was served with dinner was always good. everything else was awesome and we felt totally spoiled. Thank you for the opportunity to give you my opinion.

Highly recommended cruise line. Crew was very attentive, food excellent and entertainment was up our alley! Would definitely cruise with Azamara again.

We loved our cruise on the Azamara - so many cities and an excursion through the Kiel Canal which was a very cool experience! The crew of the ship is so accommodation and the food and entertainment top notch!

The small ship was lovely, well appointed and easy to navigate. The meals were good and the people we met and ate dinner with fabulous. We would go on another Azamara cruise.

Azamara always provides an enjoyable experience in a family atmosphere. It is always good to reconnect with crew members we have come to know over the years. On the downside the food quality and preparation have declined. I believe the private equity ownership group has decided to improve margins by cutting back in this area.

I was hoping for better weather but I guess no one can predict that. As for Azamara, as always, excellent. The staff are above and behond, food excellent and being a small ship, the passengers are easy to mingle with.

Crew,food and shows were exceptional Lots of activities to keep us busy and forget about the cold weather..

Staff overwhelmed with variety of tasks, many still performed excellent. Food very good.. Over all 4.7.
