We had a GREAT time!

We’ve sailed several times over the years with Celebrity and Holland America. This was our first time to cruise with Azamara. We adored everything about the Azamara Quest. First, the staff was so wonderful. They truly do everything to ensure you have a lovely relaxing time. The spaces on the ship were so beautiful. There was never a time that we couldn’t find seat in the lounge or the dining room. Our fellow cruisers were friendly and interesting people. The specialty dining room were excellent. Our bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever had on a cruise. Being in port for two days or until 10:00 pm gave us lots of time to explore the various cities. We cannot wait to cruise with Azamara again. It was an amazing trip.

My all-time favorite cruise. I can see why Cape Town is voted the #1 city in the world to visit. Wonderful itinerary and great food and service! This is my new favorite cruise line!

Enjoyed the Med Cruise on the Azamara Quest. The staff were all fantastic and the level of service was outstanding from every staff member. We enjoyed the food and found the basic drink package to be very good. We will only book Azamara for any future cruises. Well done!

Bad weather caused the cancellation of 3 different ports. It seemed to rain and be windy every day. Ship provided excursions were outrageously expensive so we made our own. Nightly entertainment was good. Food quality varied and the staff tried hard to provide a diversity of food.

Our cruise was excellent. Lovely room, lovely food, but mostly the Azamara staff are simply the best!

First time on Azamara, close to perfection. Service, food, entertainment, security. Only opportunity for improvement was the WiFI service and offering. The rooms could be updated with USB ports.

The crew on the ship were very professional and accommodating. The food was excellent! The ship is well taken care of. The rooms were more than I expected! I wish I had changed my plans and taken the ship back to Barcelona. Azamara truly provides a great customer experience, I will try to another one sometime.

If you like sea days and don't feel the need to set foot on Antarctica, this is the trip for you. The smaller size of the Azamara ships let's you get to places the big ships can't, while providing the comfort and service you might not have on some of the expedition ships. The food and crew were great as usual. The on board naturalists gave interesting talks about Antarctic wild life, geology, and global warming and its impact on the continent. We even picked up the residents of a Chilean research station and treated them to lunch and an afternoon cruise aound their island. We didn't get the Drake Lake for out Passage crossing, but the Drake Shake wasnt at its worst. The Captkept us informed about what to expect and it was rather fun!

12 nights on the Azamara Quest provided a true rest, when we weren't enjoying the food, the onboard entertainment, and especially the Azamazing Evening in Montevideo. If I have one complaint it is that the onshore excursions are too pricey. As it is difficult to take advantage of similar tours on our own at a more reasonable cost, we felt somewhat trapped into paying these prices or having to give up some excursions for budget reasons. I realize that for others, the cost is not an issue, but not everyone on board has deep pockets. The stellar performances on board and the friendliness of the staff made up for it. I LOVED the Distinctive Voyage tour to see the Boca Street Art in Buenos Aires that Avoya provided. It was truly my favorite day on the whole trip.

This was the best cruise I ever took ! Azamara has the best service and best staff I ever encountered in all the cruises I took before. The only suggestion I could give is to have longer hours for the restaurants and better communication for the specialty restaurants.

The Good: Overall pleased with the ship, the veranda stateroom and the service. Food was great and varied. The ability of the ship to travel up the Guadalquivir River to Seville was a bonus since it enabled us to stay on board while visiting this beautiful city for 2 plus days. Azamazing Night in Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences was wonderful as well as the Flamenco performance at the Tablao de Arsenal in Seville. The Bad: Stateroom requests addressed to the attendants were often not completed as promised. We missed out on our one day in Cartagena, but no fault of the ship due to windy weather conditions and high waves. The small resort town of Portimao in Portugal is a recent addition to the itinerary that is not worth a full-day's visit. The Ugly: Excursion selection from the website was a mess, with trips to the Alhambra in Granada removed from the website the week before the cruise for no reason. We had to engage Viator at the last minute to see the Alhambra. Same thing with Seville, where the Real Alcazar in Seville was nowhere to be found on the excursions list, but the ship's concierge managed to get us self-guided tour tickets at the last minute. Unfortunately, we had to cut the tour short due to the unexpected decision of the crew to leave port one hour earlier than scheduled.
