This cruise was great. But...I don't think I would cruise from Vancouver again. 2 hour embarkation line. Unreal.

Trip was fabulous. Cruise ship was splendid. All the people on board were friendly and outgoing. We are studying where to cruise next !

Would not recommend Celebrity. The food was mediocre the ship was better for couples not family oriented

I've wanted to take this cruise to Alaska for 15 years and it did not disappoint!! The views were absolutely spectacular. The ship was great as well. The staff were all so nice and helpful. We will cruise Celebrity again in the future.

We had a wonderful time on the cruise ship. The staff was wonderful and there seemed to be plenty of activities

I gave à 3 star rating because of the food. It was not up to the standard of Holland America, even though we tried the reserved dining most evenings. There was no dedicated bridge room, and on days at sea we were really looking forward to playing bridge. The entertainment didn’t appeal much to me so I will look into that before I go on another cruise. Perhaps more activities for days at sea. The staff at all levels were superb. The cabin was nice. Having a balcony was a plus and I enjoyed the views. The ship was smooth and I didn’t get any sea sickness. Your staff went out of the way to help us enjoy the cruise

Food are not as good compare to other cruises company like Carnival in 2008 and Holland America in 2019. Maybe time changes. The entertainment are not extravagant as before.

All flights were almost on time. One was about 30 minutes delayed, but arriving in Vancouver a day early did not present an issue, ALWAYS arrive a day early! We arrived at the port at 9:50 for our 10 am boarding. There was a lot of walking but we were on board at 10:57 and our cabin was ready. It gave us plenty of time to get to the Murano for our Concierge lunch. After lunch, we needed an espresso, so it was off to Cafe al Bacio. Dinner at the buffet. This was our 45th Anniversary cruise. The Murano Tasting 5 course, 3 hour experience was probably the highlight of our cruise. I asked our waiter if he would have my anniversary gift delivered to the table when we arrived. It was set on a plate with a cover. Was quite special and a surprise to M. Our waiter was the best we have ever had in all our cruises. He had an anniversary cake for us at dinner's end. What a special night. There was a new onboard excursion - Galley to Table. It was a tour of one of the galleys and then lunch at the Murano. It was worth the price. There were 3 couples of us at the table and all the ladies were teachers. Not planned, but made for a very relaxing lunch. The only day of full sunshine was Hoonah (Icy Strait). We didn't get to go into town which was 1.5 miles from our dock. M has mobility issues so the walk up a hill to catch the shuttle was out, and the gondola ride was out, too. Too tight and M likes to keep her feet on the ground. ;) The shuttle could have come down to the gift shop area at the dock. Shopped in Skagway for a bit then it started to drizzle. Headed back to the ship and the sun came out for a few minutes, but we were able to get the gifts we wanted. Juneau was a great stop for our Salmon Bake excursion. It was as good as we remembered from a previous cruise. Ketchican was a bust with horizontal rain. We canceled our excursion since the walk was too far in that weather. Not a big deal since we had been there a couple of times before. Our first reservation in the MDR was also an experience. A great couple next to us to share with. Dinner ended with another Anniversary cake - a total surprise. It was delivered by "singing" waiters as other guests cheered. :) We attended three of the shows - from comedy to singing to David Meyer playing the xylosynth. His playing was almost spellbinding. The shows were an A+. I don't know why, but they were not well attended. Their loss. We had a 10:55 flight home so we did the self assist walk off. We started our walk off at 7:15 and were at the airport at about 8 am, cleared customs, and were at our gate a little before 9. All flights home were good. It was our cruise consultant, Hillary Habeeb, who provided us with a wonderful package. We booked about 14 months in advance with a great all-inclusive package. We paid less for this Concierge Class C1 cabin than we did for our very first Alaska cruise with an inside cabin about 17 years ago. Between the OBC from Celebrity, Avoya, and our Celebrity CC we had almost $800 to spend. We actually came home with $167. All our OBC was refundable. We didn't use the balcony much due to the weather, but still worth the $$. This was our second Alaska Cruise with Celebrity and would cruise with Celebrity again. The Solstice and Infinity are not kid-oriented ships which fits very well with our "senior+" age group. I suppose I should rate the food, service (all levels), and the ship - at least a 12/10. The only negative, which I will not comment on, is the Spa (hair salon) staff 0/5. Between Avoya, Hillary, and Celebrity, we had a wonderful cruise. All three will be our go-to should there be another cruise.

Excellent

We had a lot of fog, rendering 2 shore excursions almost worthless. Next time I will not sign up for any shore excursions that could be ruined by weather, and sign up for them while on board, even if they are more expensive. We had a problem accessing the Avoya extras because the brochure was not in our room, but we did get the galley tour and Saxman Village. I really liked being on the 3rd floor, without a balcony, because it was the center of activity and restaurants. Weather made the balcony benefit somewhat useless. The food was outstanding. Overall it was a very good trip despite the weather and other things.

It was an amazing trip! Everything on the sip was great! We had problems coming home do to the West Jet mechanics strike! That had nothing to do with the cruise!

The very first shock was when I received the call from Maureen my travel agent that the flight with Air Canada was CANCELLED, no other flight was offered.Spent an additional night in the LAQUINTA INN ( 2) The flight scheduled ON Monday morning 6/17 Tickets were Not Paid for . I learned this at the gate 15 minutes prior to Boarding time. the crisis travel unit David called me back in a timely fashion. thank you for that service and coordination of airlines with locator number, and clear instructions to Seattle , Juneau, the accommodations at the Wyndham and on and On...............on. the wonderful thing is that the coordination by the customer service planning team occurred with Excellence. However at this point I lost 2 Days in the Pacific Ocean, this was / is my main attraction in cruising. I did board the Celebrity Solstice on my birthday Tuesday June 18th at approximately 11;30 am, From there it was nice . I appreciate the support Maureen gave me she was very compassionate, and it felt like she didn't leave my side. she returned my phone call at 3 am . A huge Thank You for having her on the team. I look forward to traveling with plans by this company. Respectfully Lenora Fletcher

We had a great time on the ship. The services were great, the staff were very friendly and the food were good too. One minor concern was that the cleaning staff for our room was sick toward the end of our trip. We then tested positive with COVID after we came home. I am wondering if Celebrity is taking care of their own staff by allowing them to take break when they are feeing sick? Our agent, David Clark was very helpful from the start toward end of our trip. We really appreciate his help.

Management is below expectations. Moving of the crowd in a hot sunny day in Thailand is very inefficient. There’s not enough Tender that Celebrity Line has to hire additional local boat tender to move the crowd as many have started to get irritated including myself. Crowd is waiting under the sun and humid conditions. Although they serve cold water, patience among us passengers is getting shorter as time goes by. Second, the information management is poor. So poor that the app indicates that I have no transfer to the airport. I have to dig for paper copy to bring in to the guest relations office to prove that I paid for transfer. I have to go to the guest relations office to protest that I disagree to pay for the $18 pp gratuity and put my money in the pot to be divided among their employees. I wanted to hand my gratuity to the people that worked so hard to ensure that I enjoy their service not the people I did not interact with. I noted that, though I realized that the waiter and waitresses can’t perform their job in some cases without the help of back door support I told the cruise management that that is their issue not mine as a paying passer/client. If they want to retain their back support employees they should pay them what they deserve. I got my gratuity money back that they charge on my account and I gave it to the people who ensured that I have a clean room/bathroom, that I have enough electrical outlet to plug my medical device and he ensured that I have sharp needle container and a distilled water I need for my CPAP. I gave my gratuity to those people in the wait service that ensure that I enjoyed interacting with them and they ensure that I got what I need in the table. I give my gratuity tot hose who serve the complicated request for drinks that don’t have alcohol and no added sugar in my drinks. They are the ones who made my cruise a memorable one.

We loved each of the ports. Sea days were agonizing on the ship. Could never find a place to sit, whether it was poolside, the buffet or any lounge. If you found a place to sit, chairs were big, uncomfortable and outdated. There were unsafe situations when tendering and docking. Our balcony was our favorite place.

Out 17 night Transpacific cruise was on our "to do" list for years. Finally wee decided to take it. What a wonderful experience. The ship, the staff the, entertainment exceeded our expectations. he only thing we did wrong was not to allow sufficient days in Sydney to really experience what that part of world can offer. (You need at least 5 days.) If you decide to stay in Sydney, make sure you get a nice hotel in the area call "The Rocks" That is where all the activities are in Sydney. We stayed in a hotel in town center and there was nothing to do in the evening; few places to eat and no entertainment, so we spent lots of money with taxis going to the Rocks. The Rocks is where the cruise ship dock; near the Opera House, the Sydney Bridge and lots of restaurants and evening activities.

Celebrity is doing it right. Our trip was memorably outstanding. So much to do and see. More activities than time to enjoy them all, but we tried. The food was excellent, service impeccable. The weather cooperated for the most part. They are always asking what to do for you to make it even better. I say, keep doing what you are doing, celebrity will now be our first choice in vacations.

Perfect cruise! Great value on this repositioning trans-pacific cruise. Great itinerary with 3 stops in French Polynesia, 2 stops in New Zealand and ending in Sydney Australia. Spent a week in Hawaii as well before boarding. Nice ship for relaxation. Food in the dining room was average but acceptable. Buffet was actually above average, especially for lunch. Plenty of deck space and always plenty of loungers available. Shows were good with plenty of variety. Lots of activities. Not a great ship for kids or families but perfect for "mature" couples!

Having sailed in RCI many times before, I did not feel that Celebrity is really a step above. The cruise was great, but I think I would not select X over RCI unless Celebrity was the only option for a particular itinerary.
