Ship is well worn but has classic features. Stateroom is tight especially shower. Service and accomodations great. Entertainment entertaining. A few land stops were okay but overall well organized and land host was fun and informative. Highly recommeded to do a combined land and cruise program. Packed and adventerous itinerary!

We enjoyed the western Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean. Great food, service and entertainment. We enjoyed the excursions including swimming with dolphins.

Ship was clean and safe, the excursions were fun; the food was very good. That said - the large ship environment is not for me. No place to sit quietly other than your cabin... In the common areas, Grandma hoards all the seats for her family of 8 or 10 and sneers at anyone who comes near. Too much emphasis on sell, sell and sell. No water fountains - except in the gym. Too may bars.

We had a wonderful time on our 7 day Alaska Cruise. Everything went smoothly from the flight there and back, to the cruise experience. We will go again.

Had a great time

Everything was great other than the room on the 2nd floor of the ship which had a water leak and smelled the entire time we were onboard.

This was my wife's and I first cruise ever. I don't think we set the bar too high but still wanted to be pampered for a few days. The ship's interior is reminiscent of the an older motel. Clean yes, older no doubt. Dark and perhaps even a bit dingy. Main lobby was small and had no room for us to participate in any offered events. Most activities were held in the bars. We imbibe occasionally but didn't want to spend our first cruise sitting in a dark bar for extended periods of time. No one we encountered had any value towards personal space. Even when the elevator had 8 passengers, more often poured in "we can squeeze in". Both my wife and I contracted what we initially thought were colds, but after no relief for a few days we took COVID tests. We both tested positive. Both were upper respiratory with minimal fever but felt like a flu regardless. My symptoms (male 65) eased after 7 days with my more athletic wife (female 62) still is coughing and congested today (11 days since first symptoms) . Maybe we got it on the plane but I wish that Royal Caribbean had some kind of social distancing policy. Perhaps posting a capacity limit on the elevators at a minimum. No need to enforce it, just put up some signs. We appreciated the mandatory hand was stations at the buffet. Need to keep people from cramming in the elevators. The staff was fantastic and energetic and friendly! Kudos to all of them. Sorry for the 3/5 but we were disappointed by the entertainment that was available to us and the antiquated décor of the boat. -LPL

Trip was beyond expectations! Weather was perfect, excursions were awesome and the food was great!

Food was amazing staff was wonderful but the teen and kids intertament was week

Great trip made possible with Todd Embree. He worked hard to be sure all details were covered. Saved us almost $2k on flights. I got a quick response on a Holiday about confusing train tickets. It was a vacation our family will remember forever!

Cruise and crew were great. Only complaint I have was with the soda package I purchased for my wife and I. Cost us over $200 and was for unlimited soda, water, etc. Diet coke was the only diet drink available and could only be gotten in bars and in the Windjammer. Bars you often had to wait and in the Windjammer you always had to stand in line. Certainly was not what we expected. And come on - only one diet soda available. Ridicules

loved the cruise food not as good as should have been

I love the crew! Captain Merrick is my favorite Captain so far. The crew was cohesive and very helpful. It was a relaxing yet entertaining cruise. I would do it all over again.

Everything was great! From The service on the cruise, and the guides on our 3 day excursion. We had a fabulous family vacation!

Good value based on price, food and service. Royal seems to have stepped up to HAL level for engagement by staff with the customers. My preference is still HAL for slightly better food selections and less noisy entertainment. One thing was new to me and very pleasant, as the waiter at the end of dinner would summarize the following day's times for port and restaurants.

On my 8 day cruise the cabin was fine, right next to the main elevators but very quiet. That location was great. The food was very subpar. Seemed like they were really operating on a shoestring. The dining room was especially disappointing. As the cruise went on, more and more people would just go to the buffet instead of the dining room. The buffet was quite bad as well but there were more choices. The ship seemed fine.
