Silversea - Silver Whisper Reviews

Much good very good especially the crew and staff, all staff. Not so good was the tired condition of the ship, limited eating venues, very dated pool and deck. Entertainment was so so. I think the age (25) of this ship and its relative small size adversely affects a number of amenities that we have come to expect on an upper end cruise line. To repeat, the crew and staff were exceptional without exception. The ship is not ship shape.

Terrific cruise but the seas were generally rough throughout and especially bad crossing from New Zealand to Australia. A lot of people seasick despite wristbands, ginger and Dramamine. Not Silversea’s fault but people should be cautioned that this is not such an easy cruise.

The air department at Silversea was terrible. Lorena is the best travel expert on the planet

Getting to the ship was VERY difficult. No real address of the ship. Was told by Silversea to go to the Oyster Catcher Restaurant. They did not have a clue. Finally found where it was. Taxi drivers did not know where this "port" was; we were told all taxii dirivers would know where to go. Very hot day. Long wait.

Silversea did not disappoint. We were a little disappointed that some of our preferred excursions were canceled (due to Covid) but Silversea did a good job adjusting and accommodating around the cancellations. Ship was lovely and the crew was amazing. We were very pleased with their Covid protocols which provided us with a way to travel the Caribbean and stay healthy.

What a fantastic journey aboard the Silver Whisper. We were treated so well by the friendly staff members. The ship was spotless and extremely COVID safe. What a lovely way to enjoy the beautiful islands. Thank you, Silver Sea. I'm sure we will join you, again.

Great service, food

SilverSea is a great cruise line. You can't ask for better crew and staff. Our butler, Ness, was great at knowing just what we needed an when, as was our cabin stewardess, Aida.

Silversea provided an excellent experience from start to finish. The dining was excellent, from the casual Grill to the more elegant Main Dining Room. We especially enjoyed leisurely lunches on the deck of La Terrassa. Service all around the ship was friendly and efficient.

We loved the Experience. Had a great time and really enjoyed the service and food. What more could you want?

We found Silversea Cruises to be poor at communicating with their passengers on many levels. And true to form, we sent them a detailed email after the cruise with specifics which they have never responded to.

The cruise is wonderful. Enjoyable both onboard at in the ports of call. Silversea is usually able to get a choice spot to dock in the center of St. Petersburg, in itself a great plus!!! Accommodations, food, and service exceed expectations.

The onboard service was excellent, but I was modestly disappointed with the scope of the tours. I'm looking for more depth and time in the cities we visit
