If your main criteria are big pools, entertainment and on board shopping, the mega ships may be ok. If you don’t like lines, waits, crowds, and on board auctions, give WindStar a try. You get excellent staff, small, less crowded destinations, and the romance of sails.

Outstanding experience! Far exceeded my expectations. The Crew was a pleasure to be around, always willing to help with anything!

The food was great, but the weather was rough and windy. Disappointing, however, no fault of Windstar.

Wonderful journey. Outside of twisting my knee on coming off a step down in the lounge, we enjoyed the whole experience. Staff was very professional and caring. Kudos and praise to Eri who took care of stateroom and our needs and to Rudy, our waiter in the restaurant, Superb service by both Food was delicious. Gift shop was disappointing We enjoyed the entertainment

Great ship, wonderful time sailing the Mediterranean!

The cruise itinerary was amazing and the excursion offerings were wonderful! The staff onboard Wind Surf was attentive, friendly, and lovely. Would highly recommend Windstar and will book many more cruises with them.

This was a very good crossing. Weather was surprisingly good for entire 14-day cruise. This was my 24th crossing with Windstar, 23 of which were on the Surf. The other one was on the WindSpirit. Several things that I have voiced concern about on previous crossings were either remedied or improved satisfactorily. The meals were considerably improved from the Fall Crossing. I think there are still many things that Windstar still needs to do to bring the level back to what it once was. I have cruised with Windstar since 2000, and the Spring Crossing was the 28th cruise with this line, including four other voyages in addition to the crossings. I am booked for the 2025 Spring Crossing on the Surf.

It was superb itinerary and outstanding food as from the best French restaurants. But the ship is a bit old and requires maintenance of plumbing system.

Trip was fabulous in spite of some nasty weather in and around Sicily. The Dalmatian Coast was remarkably beautiful and Venice amazing. The crew of Wind Surf were wonderfully hospitable, friendly and professional. Thanks to all.

Ship needs updating. DVR in room are usless. Not hooked up into TV. No heat for three days, then only very hot in cabin. Woest cruise I have everr been. Also I was not given credit for my previous cruises on Windstar bwcause I did not have the dates!

Our 15-day cruise was wonderful. The onboarding and disembarking experiences were smooth and well organized. The cuisine for all meals was exceptional as was the professionalism and personalization of the attending staff. The ship itself was a unique experience and one that my wife and I will forever treasure.

Had a great trip with little wind and very calm seas. The service on board was very good as always and it was nice meeting people again ,we had met before on the Wind Surf. For us living most of our time in Sint Maarten , a perfect way to go to our other home in the Netherlands

The crossing of the Atlantic on Windsurf is the highlight of my year. Everything about it is wonderful.

The cruise line was unprepared for a week of vegan dining. The on board crew did a fabulous job, but the problem was before sailing in food planning and ingredients. They were unaware of the need for protein supplement in a vegan diet. In written comments presented on board I mentioned this and suggested ways to solve it, but haqave not heard back. I have a Tahiti cruise scheduled for August and am now considering canceling.

Everything on Windstar is 5 star, except the internet service. Charging a fee for lousy internet service was totally out of character for your company.
