Day 1
PHOENIX AREA
Welcome to Phoenix! Your Tour Director is on hand from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m to answer any questions.
Day 2
PHOENIX AREA–SEDONA–WILLIAMS
Travel north stopping at the pre-Columbian cliff dwellings at Montezuma Castle National Monument. This fascinating historical site offers a glimpse into the lives of the Sinagua people who called this area home from approximately A.D. 600 to 1450. Then spend time among Sedona’s red rock formations. See Bell Rock, a distinctive sandstone landmark associated with Sedona’s vortex sites, believed by many to radiate spiritual energy. Enjoy free time to take in the beautiful surroundings, browse local shops or join an optional backcountry 4-wheel-drive Jeep tour. Late afternoon arrival into Williams, a classic Route 66 town known for its preserved Main Street and historic railroad heritage. (B)
Day 3
WILLIAMS–GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK–CAMERON–TUBA CITY
This morning, visit one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World—Grand Canyon National Park! Stretching 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and more than a mile deep, the canyon reveals colorful rock layers carved by the Colorado River over millions of years! Take in the panoramic views from the South Rim or choose an exhilarating optional helicopter flightseeing tour for a bird’s-eye perspective of this remarkable landscape. Later, stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post, established in 1916, to browse handcrafted Native American jewelry, Navajo rugs, Hopi kachinas, Pueblo pottery, baskets, and other regional artwork before continuing to Tuba City for the night. Day 4
TUBA CITY–MONUMENT VALLEY–MOAB
Journey across the Navajo Nation to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, whose towering mesas and buttes have served as the backdrop for countless classic Western films. Explore the scenic desert landscapes on a 4-wheel drive tour with a knowledgeable Navajo guide, who shares insights into the area’s history, culture, and traditions. Continue north to Moab for the next two nights. (B)
Day 5
MOAB. EXCURSION TO ARCHES NATIONAL PARK–CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK–DEAD HORSE POINT STATE PARK
Get ready for a day of remarkable landscapes and geological wonders! Begin at Arches National Park, home to more than 2,000 natural stone arches, including the iconic Delicate Arch, and hundreds of soaring pinnacles. Continue to Canyonlands National Park, Utah’s largest national park, where the Colorado and Green rivers have carved a landscape of canyons, mesas, and buttes. Lastly, end your day at Dead Horse Point State Park, where sweeping views overlook a dramatic bend in the Colorado River. The park also gained fame as the filming location for the final cliff scene in the film, Thelma & Louise. (B)
Day 6
MOAB–CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK–BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK
Depart Moab and travel through Capital Reef National Park, named by early settlers who thought the white domes of the Navajo Sandstone resembled the U.S. Capitol building. Continue along Scenic Byway 12, an All-American Road known as a “Journey Through Time,” where more than 200 million years of natural and human history unfolded. Enjoy the sweeping views as you travel through the heart of Utah’s canyon country before arriving in Bryce Canyon late this afternoon. (B)
Day 7
BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK–WASHINGTON
Explore Bryce Canyon National Park, famous for its vibrantly colored hoodoos - tall, spire-shaped rock formations in vibrant shades of red, orange, pink, and white. Over millions of years, wind, water, and ice have sculpted this remarkable landscape and created the world’s largest concentration of hoodoos. Later, travel south for an overnight stay in Washington, UT. (B)
Day 8
WASHINGTON–ZION NATIONAL PARK–LAS VEGAS
Complete your journey through Utah’s Mighty Five with a visit to Zion National Park, where steep canyons, diverse vegetation, and stunning towering stone cliffs of cream, pink, and red rise above the canyon floor. Enjoy free time to explore the park on scenic hiking trails or ride the complimentary park shuttle to take in its signature viewpoints. Early this afternoon, depart for the neon lights of Las Vegas. Tonight, have time to explore ‘The Strip’ lined with shops, restaurants and over-the-top casinos and live entertainment. (B)

LAS VEGAS
