As the animals recover, they move to reintegration centers like Ithumba, where they learn vital survival skills and gradually reconnect with wild herds. Many eventually return to the wild, and the project has even welcomed 92 babies born to former orphans now thriving in their natural habitat. Visiting the Trust offers a meaningful look at conservation in action and a chance to support Kenya’s remarkable wildlife.
