Dress Code

What Should I Pack?
The first thing to remember is that you're on vacation and you are onboard Princess Cruises to enjoy yourself. Secondly, remember to travel light. Keeping these two pieces of advice in mind are very important for packing.

Casual attire and stylish resort wear is typically appropriate attire onboard and in-port. Shorts, slacks, sundresses, blouses, sandals, etc., are appropriate for women, and clothing for men is just as casual. Travelers might also want to consider bringing along a sweater or jacket for cool evenings and inexpensive rain gear in case of a sudden shower. While restaurants typically have casual dress code, there are also instances where you may visit a specialty restaurant or attend a special Captain’s Cocktail Party and Gala Farewell Dinner that requires business casual or formal attire. For days in port where you will be participating in various shore excursions, you should dress accordingly to the dress codes of the sites you are visiting, as well as bring a pair of sneakers for strenuous walking.

Formal Wear: Men: suit and tie, sport coat, tie and slacks; Women: evening dresses, cocktail dresses; pantsuits.

Casual Resort Wear: Men: sport shorts, slacks; Women: dresses, skirts, shorts, Capri pants.

*Please Note: Shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, hats, casual jeans with holes, and bathing attire are not permitted in the Dining Room during dinner.

Fitness / Recreation

Look good by the pool by taking advantage of Diamond Princess’ many recreational activities. Work out at the state-of-the-art fitness center, complete with weights and machines, swim against the current at the lap pool, or work on your shot at the nine-hole putting course.

Entertainment

Explore the many entertainment options onboard Diamond Princess and always have an activity to do! See a show at the Princess Theater, enjoy a flick and popcorn at Movies Under the Stars, meet up with some friends for a drink at one of the many bars and lounges, and end your evening dancing the night away at Skywalkers Nightclub.

Spa

Look and feel your best onboard Diamond Princess by making an appointment at the Lotus Spa. Choose from a variety of invigorating treatments to get the smoothest skin and feel rejuvenated after a fun-filled day at sea or port.

Dining

The many dining venues onboard Diamond Princess provide an array of different cuisines that are sure to satisfy even the pickiest eater. Choose multi-course meal at the Pacific Moon Dining Room where guests are sure to experience exceptional service and delicious cuisine. If you’re craving some particular, opt for a meal at one of the specialty restaurants – Sabatini’s Italian Restaurant or Sterling Steakhouse – for a special experience. If you’re in the mood to keep it casual, check out the Horizon Court Buffet or the Prego Pizzeria. No matter what you choose for dinner, end your evening on a sweet note at Sundaes Ice Cream Bar.

Casino

Hoping to win big on your cruise vacation onboard Diamond Princess? Check out the casino for a chance to win tons with the slot machines or various card tables.

Kids

Diamond Princess offers a plethora of activities to make sure that even the youngest cruiser has the time of their life onboard. Princess Pelicans (ages 3 to 7), Shockwaves (ages 8 to 12), and Remix (ages 13 to 17) will enjoy age-appropriate and supervised activities as well as mingling parties in the Fun Zone and Teen center and the little ones will love Pelican’s Playhouse and Pool.
