The trip exceeded all of our expectations. Everything, from the ship to stateroom to food to service to tours were all great. Will definitely go again.

We enjoyed the trip, but it wasn’t without issues. The ship broke down several times resulting in delays and even the elimination of the planned stop and activities in Cologne. We spent one night and day docked along the river bank in the middle of nowhere. A couple of days, tours were bussed 1 to 1 3/4 hours each way resulting in delayed sip & sail and dinner until well past normal hours. We noted on our questionnaire that AMA missed an opportunity to offset this bad luck experience by at least offering a free drink while waiting between a delayed dinner and the entertainment that supposedly would include the missed sip & sail. It isn’t the 15 euro charge, but the principle. All in all we enjoyed it (especially Sweden) but it wasn’t up to the normal AMA standards that we have experienced in the past. We will probably try something / someone else next time.

AMA was outstanding in every way! Our Cruise Manager Nikola was the best, as was the entire crew. Can’t wait for our next cruise!

We had a wonderful trip. Everything about the ship, its staff, the excursions, etc. met or exceeded our expectations.

We were best to every city. As a result, you're stranded in that city until you are bust back to the ship. We found ourselves with nothing to do on several occasions, unfortunately it rained most days, so we struggled with finding ways to get out of the rain.

The River Cruise part of my trip was a disappointment. This was my 5th River Cruise. The truly beautiful and charming towns we visited made v the trip worthwhile - they were charming, historically interesting and local guides excellent. But, the boat part of the trip not equal to the land part. The food was mediocre. The top deck was closed for a majority of the trip due to low bridges and many lockes. The docking place were almost never near the destination sight seeing places, so bus rides necessary to reach them.. I loved my room on board and the boat stsff was 100% wonderful - kitchen, bar, table, room cleaners. All 5 Star. It was the itinerary and the food that were responsible for my 3 star review.

Beautiful ship and wonderful itinerary. The crew was so amazing. Our cruise manager Jessie knew everyone’s names and special needs. She really went above and beyond. We loved how intimate everything was, from the excursions to the overall feel of the ship. The ship was super clean and food was good. We are already thinking of taking another trip with Ama!

Miriam was outstanding as the Cruise Manager. Miriam was attentive to the needs of, what appeared to be, a relatively demanding group of passengers. The AMACerto Crew Members were all a credit to the AMAWaterways organization. The Crew is the reason we will travel ,again, with AMAWaterways. Objective criticism; Shore excursions were hurried. Several passengers with whom we traveled would have preferred to stay for awhile in certain towns including Veer, Ghent, Dordrecht - especially Ghent. Evening entertainment on the ship was disappointing only in that it lacked passenger involvement. On our last AMA cruise (Portugal) there was passenger dancing, but not on this trip. Although many of us are "terrible" dancers, it was not only fun, but brought passengers together unlike the entertainment on this trip. Importantly, the evening entertainers were all very good, but a night, or two of dancing would have enhanced the cruise experience. Thank you for this inquiry.

Wonderful. The ship was immaculate, the crew spectacular, and every meal was outstanding. I was very impressed with the attention to detail, and the attention the crew gave to details. By the end of the week I felt as if I had been friends with them for years. Thanks for the wonderful and relaxing cruise.

This was our third cruise with AmaWaterways and we continue to be super impressed with their attention to detail, amazing staff, and exciting itineraries. The cruise manager (Marcia) was simply amazing and attended to our every need, the room was kept in excellent shape throughout the cruise, and our wait staff was impressive remembering every dietary quirk, or which we had many. We cannot recommend AmaWaterways enough, and are excited to book a future cruise with them.

AMA and our Cruise Mgr put together a perfect itinerary. We have been part of h to us rout before but we’re introduced to new towns and beauty. Boat was beautiful and comfortable. We were very well taken care of.

This was my first cruise and I thoroughly enjoyed it!! The crew was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed learning about their backgrounds and hearing about the various "behind the scenes" things like where they all sleep, seeing the captain at work, etc. The day trips were enjoyable too and thankfully Mother Nature cooperated on the day we went to Keukenhof with beautiful blue skies!

We enjoyed our "Tulip Time" river cruise to the Netherlands and Belgium. Although we knew it would be chilly there, we were prepared and gratefully got to visit some wonderful gardens with tulips and other spring bulb flowers in peak bloom. As well, we visited many cultural sites and enjoyed tours of cities in this northern part of Europe. The staff, accommodations, and food service were terrific. On the downside, we are in are mid-60's, not retired, and were among the youngest on the ship. And quite frankly, I got tired of talking to people 85+ years and older who could not understand why we were not retired.

Too much time at sea. Christmas markets were disappointing.

The experience of doing this river boat cruise was better than we expected

We found the piano player/entertainer quite poor – he did not seem to recognize the music that the audience wanted to hear and thus decreased our dancing. The evening snacks were very poor and at times unedible. The hotel in Paris was terrible –safe would not open and shower kept falling off hook and water lukewarm.

We really enjoyed our tour of the Rhine and Main Rivers! The staff was friendly and helpful, would do anything for you. Food was excellent and Martina, the cruise manager, went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect! All of the tours were good and the guides were very knowledgeable. We highly recommend AmaWaterways!

Met and exceeded expectations. Crew was delightful. Travel agent was very helpful.

Outside of a couple of bumps in the road (being delivered to the wrong hotel from the airport and being given small standard hotel rooms) the trip was very nice.
