Traveling as a family of 6, including our teenage sons and my parents we were extremely impressed with the high level of organization and excellence shown by the team, especially Wallah our Egyptologist. We have cruised about 20 times in our life but this trip far surpassed them all. We have never experienced such high levels of service and hospitality as shown by the AMA team. Within days of our return we booked another cruise with AMA. We love supporting not only a family owned cruise line but also one with such high quality standards. Egypt was absolutely an amazing adventure and I highly recommend it. The cuisine on board was delicious and the staff was extremely accommodating to any needed requests. We enjoyed every minute. Thank you for the family adventure of a lifetime.

We were a little worried about going to the Middle East at this time, because of the war going on in Israel. We shouldn't have been concerned at all. During our entire trip, my husband and I felt completely safe and taken care of. Our guides, Loui in Jordan and Waala in Egypt, provided so much information that we were amazed at their knowledge. Our group of nineteen became family by the time we arrived in Egypt and we enjoyed this wonderful trip together. The AmaDahlia was very beautiful and the crew couldn't have been any more caring. If we wanted something to eat, we just had to ask for it. If we were in need of anything, it was provided for us. This was a place my husband and I have wanted to go to for a very long time, and it didn't disappoint. We saw so many amazing places and experienced so much that we both agreed that this was one of our favorite trips. I would recommend this trip with Ama to anyone without hesitation and would stress that we never felt unsafe at any time. This truly was a trip of a lifetime! Thanks to everyone on land and on the river for making our vacation one that we will never forget. Also, thanks for celebrating our 50th anniversary with a delicious cake and recognition from the crew.

What a trip! I would recommend it to anyone. From our cruise director, tour guide, the boat and staff to the bus drivers. Everything was incredible! The sites and excursions, the people and culture were mesmerizing! The food and service on board the AmaDahlia was top notch. A huge thanks and round of applause to all we met and encountered. It is a trip we will treasure forever!

For someone who is completely captivated by what someone else would call a pile of rocks, our pre-cruise trip to Jordan and the Egyptian tour was the ultimate experience!

Met every expectation

The ship was fine, though not as luxurious as I thought it would be. The food was mediocre and our tour guide was fabulous. So a story of highs and not so highs. I did feel that we might have gotten more info about the trip in advance and I rather resent not being treated as an individual - we were not a couple, just cousins sharing a cabin.

For a solo traveler they made me feel safe, comfortable and well taken care of. The cabins were quite spacious, the staff was excellent. They could upgrade the food but it was good.
