This cruise was great. But...I don't think I would cruise from Vancouver again. 2 hour embarkation line. Unreal.

We booked our cruise to celebrate my wife’s birthday and we wanted to be aboard on the day. The itinerary was interesting and turned out to be wonderful! To celebrate the special day, we booked a suite to enjoy being pampered. With the exception of the Retreat Lounge, our expectations were met, if not exceeded. The level of service in the Retreat Lounge was not what we had experienced previously. There just wasn’t enough staff to accommodate the guests. Besides that we were very pleased with our vacation.

We loved the cruise! Entertainment great! staff great! food wonderful! Only glitch was with Celebrity corporate office setting up a closed art auction event in the Skye Lounge everyday so we had no access to that area till evening after dark! After 3 treks to the lounge only to find it closed off we contacted the guest services to be told Corporate had set up the auction. So it was out of their control. Very disappointed about being denied access.

We had such an amazing time on the Celebrity Beyond and the itinerary was perfect. CocoCay, San Juan and St Marteen. Gorgeous ship. Wonderful crew. Amazing food.

We had a fantastic time. Food was delicious each night. Staff was fantastic. Well worth the drink package drinks were delicious. But it was very clean. The only disappointment was the entertainment was not as good as prior cruises.

Celebrity Ascent is top notch. The captain was the best captain that we’ve had in 40 years of cruising. It flows from the top down resulting in an outstanding staff. We loved the four themed dining rooms which made the ship seem smaller. The food was generally very good. Our Cruise out of Rome to Greece and Turkey provided wonderful days of adventure. After a good dinner, we went to the shows. The entertainment was also excellent. The cruisers were international and the ship buzzed with laughter and fun throughout the ship in the evenings! I highly recommend the Celebrity Ascent for couples in their 20s up to fit 70 year olds.

Room was a disappointment- mismatched bedding, partially obscured view.

Excellent!

The service on the cruise ship was outstanding! The room was comfortable, the food was good, and the entertainment adequate. The overall biggest problem with the cruise was the excursions. They were overpriced, the guides were mediocre, and the stop at the leather and jewelry stores were no bargain. We were lead to believe items were discounted and discovered later that they were highly overpriced goods. Luckily, we hadn’t bought anything!

We loved everything about this cruise; but the very best part was all the staff on the ship. They knew our names, they knew our preferences, and they made us feel so comfortable.

We like trivia. Activities staff did not change trivia from previous cruises. Therefore repeat cruisers won almost every time. We quit going about 2/3 thru cruise. Very sad on Celebrity’s part.

Everything was smooth and the trip was amazing.

Thé cruise was excellent! The train ride in Flam was amazing so was Nordkapp. Cruising the Fjords was breathtaking.

The trip was great.

Staff was great. Food was mediocre. The Blu menu was subpar and the portions were small. Even the main menu was not great. The buffet was better than the restaurants. Entertainment was excellent. Ship tours were a big disappointment.

It was great until departure. The heat did not help but the absolute congestion in getting to our ride home defies description. It changed the grade from A or Aplus to an unquestionable F

Celebrity went out of their way to make my trip wonderful. I am GF and dairy-free and the menu was excellent.

We had a wonderful time with our group of friends (which included Gary & Debbie Wagner), but the cruise itself and Celebrity's style in general is just not our thing. Food was marginal at best (stale bread, inability to get leg of lamb medium rare because all the meat is cooked to medium we were told. Not anywhere near enough information on each destination, an intinerary that stopped at basically unknown ports instead of Bergen which is the hear & soul of Norway. And so much more which was a supreme disappointment. It will be only Viking cruises for us going forward -- Viking's level of excellence & sophistication is unsurpassed. As a retired travel writer, Celebrity's glaring cost cuts and rip-off nickel & dime-ing is shameful.
