Everything was perfect, the ship, accommodation, service, weather, food and excursions. Hillary Habeeb made this dream come true and we're so thankful for all her incite and help planning this trip!

For those that don't care for sea days, this is not for them. But Holland America had plenty of events and fun activities to make it a great vacation to Hawaii. Hawaii is beautiful and two days at Honolulu was the best!

We enjoyed our cruise so much! Had the best time and everything was just perfect. From the beautiful accommodations, the gorgeous ship ambiance, amazing entertainment, to delicious food in abundance, and just superb service all around. Of course, it all started with a booking/planning of our cruise and wanted to give huge Kudos to Avoya and our travel agent Heather. She was there for us and provided exceptional service and made sure my daughter's birthday cruise was a success. THANK YOU!!!!!

We loved our cruise to Mexico and the staff and crew of Koningsdam are always wonderful. The food is fantastic and a wide variety is offered. It was especially being there for Christmas time. Fun activities and shows too.

You exceeded my expectations! My only quibble is that the shower was hard to operate- an explanation by the steward on arrival would have been helpful

Our Alaska cruise was wonderful

Wonderful adventure! Lots of sea days - hanging out in a cabana in the Retreat or in the spa. Food was great in MDR and the specialty restaurants. Great itinerary. Port of San Diego was a nightmare on debarkation, but that's not a HAL's fault. Would do this one again!

We enjoyed the cruise very much. A great way to visit the islands of Hawaii.

Disappointed with some of the changes Holland America has made. Changed World Stage times to 6&8 from 7&9 making it difficult to eat at 5pm early seating and make the 6pm show. Also no Lincoln Center. Also heard rumor that the two piano entertainment was being eliminated. Last cruise before this bed was ok, this cruise be was hard. Steward tried extra pillow top but was still difficult to sleep in. Other than that the food was excellent in both dining room and Lido. Room stewards were fantastic and service in other areas was also excellent.

This cruise was a wonderful reprieve from the snow in the Midwest. As usual, Hollamd outdoes itself each and every day! The music was wonderful in each venue aboard the Konigsdam and the dance company also outdid itself. Service , food, entertainment and staff were outstanding! Looking forward to next year! Stacie at Avoyatravel did an excellent job, and the weather accommodated the whole time!

Surprised to see 18% service charge as an apparent offset to gratuities/beverages packages? Only 4 hours in Cabo. Not sure why so short. La Paz didn’t have much to offer. Loreto was good.

We seriously doubt we will be cruising with Holland America again after this last cruise. It took 2+ hours to get a tender at Cabo San Lucas, the Mazatlan excursion was terrible and La Paz was a nightmare. At La Paz, we waited for almost 2 hours in the sun to get a shuttle into town, we didn't get there until almost 1:30pm and had to be back for the last bus by4;30pm but we were advised that if too many people showed up we might have to find a taxi to get back to the ship. (and even though all the information said the shuttle was free we were charged) Many people on the boat gave up and did not go to either Cabo or La Paz. The water was turned off one night from 10pm to 7am. Our room's AC turned off each night between midnight and 5am. We were randomly charged for diner items that I had to go to guest services to correct. The staff was lovely. The execution of the cruise was poor.

The ship, room. food, staff all good. Evening "entertainment was awful to any mature taste: Rock & roll, blues etc,; no jazz, classical, American songbook etc. Also, very hard to find anyplace to sit down without being hustled for drinks.

We had a ball on the Koningsdam cruise. Plenty of food to eat, and lots to do onboard.

Loved Alaska and the cruise . Couldn’t have asked for a better room . Neptune suite was perfect along with our Stewart’s who were fabulous .

It was great. Didnt get to see icebergs from airplane which was disappointing

Great trip. Chilly out of Vancouver so didn’t use the Cabana much. Boarding was too long a wait and disembarking was awful. Food was good, tours were terrific and the entertainment first class. Highly recommend HA but still not as good as Oceania

Hawaii and French Polynesia are beautiful. Some of the French Polynesia islands had minimal things to see or do, but the more populated islands were enjoyable. Evening entertainment was 'spotty'. Some great nights, but many evenings the available options were minimal. There are four music venues, all on the same deck, and often the music 'spilled over' from one venue to another, particularly from "Rolling Stone" which was excessively loud throughout the cruise. "Lincoln Center"/"BB King" had very nice entertainment almost every evening. We were in suite 5001, at the front of the ship. The balcony wrapped around, but the front area was partitioned off, and the remainder of the balcony was barely large enough for two recliner-chairs. Due to the shape of the front of the ship, the forward wall of the cabin was on an angle, cutting off quite a few square feet compared to a standard rectangular suite. The ship personnel were fantastic; the food was well prepared. We purchased "Club Orange" package which included a separate dining room (about 15-20 tables) . For us, the service/intimacy was well worth the up-charge. Most of the shore excursions were sold out weeks before embarkation day.
