The constant embarkation and disembarkation at every port, made the entire trip confusing and chaotic. Service was mediocre and the ship was extremely crowded.

Positives: a) the onboarding and offboarding processes were quick and efficient - suspect it is so because this ship onboard and offboards passengers at EVERY port of call in contrast to other lines when everyone boards at the same time b) the ship is beautiful and well maintained - with some interesting venues such as the India Tea Room which was peaceful and served some delightful tea blends from around the world c) my aurora plus stateroom was comfortable and spacious and the cabin service was good d) dining wait staff were superb - one member of our party has severe food allergies and there was one individual who took special menu offering EACH DAY to ensure that allergens were avoided e) excursions were well staffed and interesting Negatives: a) except for one or two nights the food was uninspired and not very good neither were the choices of starters, entrees and desserts b) the pool areas were total chaos jammed at all times except for very very early in the morning c) the buffet was also chaotic AT ALL TIMES even very early morning - this is due to the constant on and off boarding d) excursions were canceled rescheduled due to weather but the start time was extremely early and the buffet was closed and cabin service for breakfast denied e) need to keep a close eye on billing corrections were not always made and the customer service staff were dismissive of errors f) two members of my party had rooms that had bad odors in fact their entire section experienced the same foul smell - complaints were not attended to All in all I was not impressed with this cruise line and will not book with MSC in the future
