Oceania Cruises - Vista Reviews

I loved the ship--it was beautiful and the rooms and bathrooms were big and spacious. The food was great! The people who worked on the ship were all so nice!! The ports were disappointing.

We are a family of 6 adults and a beautiful grand baby girl. Oceania welcome this baby girl like she was a celebrity! They did everything for her you could imagine. The crew and the passengers just adored her. Beside her, Oceania was the perfect trip for the 6 adults all who vacation very differently. There were the amazing restaurants for the foodies, the wonderful adventure tour for the kid at heart and of course the relaxing spa for those wanted to just do nothing. Thank you Oceania for the PERFECT getaway!

We took this cruise as it included four destinations we had never visited. As we did not pay for a suite, by the time we were allowed to book excursions, most of them were already filled. We were wait listed but never got the excursions we wanted. The evening entertainment was so-so, and, if you booked a specialty restaurant, you were unable to attend the shows. Again, as we didn't book a suite, all the ealy dinner times were booked up before we were allowed to make reservations. While the staff were very friendly, none of the dining venues were able to accommodate my wife's requirement for a salt-free meal, despite her filing our her menu requests two day before each meal. Definitely not worth the price.

Great trip and such a beautiful ship. Lue Vieira arranged everything for us which made the trip go smoothly and enjoyable. I am looking forward to having Lue find a cruise on Regent.

We had a wonderful time and loved the ship, food, and ambience. We were not advised to make online reservations for dining or land excursions so that was a negative as were closed out and our dining times were not when we would have liked.

Service was spotty in the Cafe and the Restaurant. The specialty restaurants were awesome.

Beyond my expectations in every way. The food, staff, entertainment excursions. There isn’t anything I’d change . This will be the ship line I will continue to use-Vista, and or, the new Allure. Staff is awesome. ???

The Vista is beautiful and lived up to the hype. Oceania did an amazing job in ensuring we had a positive experience! From our suite, to the restaurants, to the cuisine, to the excursions, to the service, everything was first rate. Fit for a king and queen if you ask me. Total luxury! Honestly I don't know how they do it! It's a technological and logistical miracle to serve and please 1200 guests, 24 hours a day for 7 days!

The ship was indeed very beautiful, and the staff very helpful. My husband and I are both mobility challenged, and everywhere we went there was someone trying to help, from carrying our food choices in Terrace Cafe, to having wheelchairs at the bottom of the ramp to the pier. It was very hot and a very long walk from the pier to the excursion buses. We could not have done it without the help. And the staff with wheelchairs was waiting where the buses dropped us off to take us back to the ship. One criticism I have, which is probably not something the ship has control over, was that when we boarded we found that the excursions we had reserved, all "easy", were not available any longer. We got them changed, but the Santorini "moderate" excursion almost did me in - a long walk uphill in the heat from the museum to the cable car. I felt that the guide should've told us that it was pretty far and we should take the second bus back down. The second thing is that there should be an "always available" menu at dinner. There is on Regent, and we ordered from that frequently. We enjoyed the ship, the entertainment, and the music in the bars. It was a lovely vacation. Marcia and Bob Stein

Ship, service and food were good----Unfortunately there was a medical emergency and the ship had an electrical issue that caused missed ports and otherwise negatively impacted the cruise

Our first time on Oceania - and it definitely won't be our last! This ship is beautiful and elegant and everything about the cruise was perfect! Food and beverage staff absolutely top notch. Comfortable beds and staterooms enhanced our 20 day stay on this gorgeous ship. Thank you to Avoya Travel and our agent Roberta who helped make this dream a reality.

Vista is great ship. It was a wonderful cruise.

We completed a 7 night cruise in a Penthouse suite on the new Oceania Vista. The food was good. We ended up not doing the shorex, as we wanted more relaxation time on the ship. We did get a Villa on the private island, which was nice, but our time was too short! Had fun playing $5 craps in the casino. Watched the Superbowl with friends who had the Owner's suite (quite a treat!) Only downside was when they kept trying to give away seats at our table in Red Ginger...even though we had 6 of us booked (one couple was running a few minutes late). Butler took care of that! We did the wine lunch, which was fun. I've booked another cruise on VISTA for next year!

All crew were awesome and delightful to be with, as a disabled we got a beautiful room and they all helped me regardless of where I was. Best trip ever on the seas

Food was amazing-

Great cruise overall however food was not as good as prior trips. Tough steak, soggy sole,little variety. Obtaining a lounge chair was an issue as many were reserved while the persons reserving went off the ship on excursions. A few arguments broke out which was very upsetting for us. Apparently Oceania was sued and this resulted in the staff not taking action against these people.
