Viking gave us a wonderful trip. Excellent staff, food, cleanliness, sailing. However, our one negative was that unless we upsized out cabin to a higher level, the tours available to us were sub par. We felt that if there was more demand for a particular tour, why restrict it to only those who could pick it out first due to a higher fee cabin. We did miss a couple of ports due to weather and for our trip, it was the Falklands, one of the main reasons to go on this cruise. Lastly, we questioned the airline choices that were given to us. We felt that to get back and forth to our ship, our seats were pretty miserable and provided no advantage to booking through Viking.

Not enough servers during peak hours in lounges. Good plentiful but not expertly prepared.

the ship was awesome and the crew fantastic. only two issues I would like to bring to your attention. 1. my excursion to Krka National Park Falconary was changed to Krka Water Falls Park. It was indicated as "moderate" but should really have been indicated as "challenging". A number of the members of the group did have a difficult time walking since hand rails were missing from numerous locations. All in all it was beautiful. 2. The last stop was Venice and I found that an 1 1/2 hour boat ride (round trip 3 hours) was extremely time consuming when going on an excursion. My extension in Venice was beautiful except when informed that my return flight had been cancelled. At first we received so many different directives from Viking about how it was to be handled, but Sylvia, (I believe that is her name) the Viking Rep. worked diligently to help calm our fears. Truly an awesome person. Delta rescheduled our return flight and the journey to the airport prepared by Viking was flawless. Thank you for inquiring about my trip. Met some truly awesome folks. Our trip to Viking's Homeland's was just as we would have written the script. The ship was beautiful and the crew all seemed to have been trained at Nordstrom. John has always been so helpful in notifying us ahead of time of our calendared events such as dinning, excursions etc. We had a lovely trip and are looking forward to our next one.

Wonderful ship and crew. Unfortunately, travel was a nightmare and many port’s varied from the initial purchase.

The extensions were not worth the money. Viking needs to pay more attention to their audience. Every time we turned around before the trip, Viking came up with another on-line thing for us to do. Fine if you are 18. A bit of pain for senior citizens who are not computer experts.

We boarded the Viking Jupiter on February 27th and had a beautiful and relaxing cruise along the coast of Chile, especially the glacier. We had sunny weather for Cape Horn and the Falkland Islands. When we learned on March 13th that our land tour of Patagonia was canceled, Viking did their usually excellent service and booked us at the Hilton for a day with extended check-out the next day at 6:30 p.m. and flight home.

If you are into nature, this cruise is for you. Every single is fantastic. And you start and finish in two fabulous cities, Santiago and Buenos Aires. Home run!

As cruises go, Viking is truly special. Well designed and comfortable ships, incredible staff and crews, excellent food, and perfect itineraries. There are multiple tours to choose from in each port, informative and fascinating on board presentations, and always comfortable surroundings, whether your stateroom or public lounges. This was our third cruise with Viking, and we’ll do it again!

The 19 day voyage around Tierra del Fuego was a fantastic experience and I strongly recommend it. The scenery is spectacular and the ship and service were excellent.

The scenery cruising from Valparaiso to Cape Horn is spectacular, particularly with the sunny windless days we had. The Jupiter food and wines were great and our room and attendants were perfect.

Perhaps too much sea time but very enjoyable

Viking has travel down to a science! From the chic Scandinavian beauty of the ship to the nearly flawless training & performance of every crew member we encountered, to the seemingly effortless way every land excursion was conducted, this cruise was perfection. Incredible effort has to go into making everything work so smoothly, but it never showed. From the moment we stepped off our plane until we were delivered to the gate at our departure airport, we were treated with an abundance of care and respect by a crew who seemed to love doing it! Viking is the epitome of cruise perfection!

Beautifully done throughout with nothing left to chance. We were coddled and cared for and guided like precious ducklings every inch of the way! Viking has travel down to a science.

Starting with embarkation, it was smooth, fast and easy, approximately 30 minutes taxi to the cabin. The food was so good. The cabin layout had plenty of storage, clean well designed. The lectures throughout were very good, even we attended every port talk, Manolo was funny. The itinerary, I felt we experienced four seasons, which was amazing. The service was great. Overall, it was just amazing! Thank you Shock Torem from Avoya Travel for getting us a high-quality cruising experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks on Viking Jupiter. The ship was beautiful, staff was friendly and competent, food was excellent, entertainment was fun and educational, and service was perfect. Our only issue was with some of the excursions. My husband has difficulty walking long distances. I wish more shuttle services were made available. I’m more than willing to pay extra for this service if it was made available.

It was a great cruise on a mid-sized ship. The food was amazing at all venues; specialty restaurants, the main restaurant, World Cafe buffet and Wintergarden high tea. We enjoyed the salt water spa, steam room, sauna and snow room. Very relaxing. Staff was also great. We missed getting to Monte Carlo because the port was closed due to rough weather, but that wasn’t Vikings problem.

This ocean cruise was everything we expected and more. The ship was beyond expectations. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was amazing. The food choices for every course were amazing and different every day. The World Cafe was impressive as well and had many enticing foods to choose from. The crew-- not enough words or accolades to express how professional, friendly and efficient they were in every capacity on this journey. We enjoyed the onboard talks , especially the port discussions and photos. At no time did the ship ever seem crowded. There were always available lounge chairs at the pool. Also very impressed with the Spa facilities. We were disappointed that we were not able to dock in Monte Carlo due to high winds and rough water but it would have been a nice gesture if an additional excursion was offered in one of the other ports for the one we missed. It would also have been beneficial if transportation was provided in some of the ports where there was 30 to 40 minute walks just to meet the tour guide for a walking tour that many times exceeded an hour and additional time to walk back to the ship. Overall it was a great vacation and we were so impressed we booked The Grand European Tour for September of 2020 while onboard the Jupiter. Will be happy to recommend Viking to all of our friends.
