Viking River Cruises - Viking Mimir Reviews

Well, a river cruise is not an ocean cruise that was our first learning. It took awhile to get the hang of things as we are avid Ocean cruisers. There were a few places where I felt staff were non-responsive, especially when a gastro virus swept through the ship. There were more busses involved in getting to cities than we would have liked and we were uncertain as to why this was so. I don't envy the cruise director with all the ups and downs and daily changes to plans that I guess were mostly due to parking requirements, lock availability etc. We love the lock thing, 67 in all what treat. Cities were beautiful in the Christmas magic way. It was COLD, so make sure you have the right clothing and footwear. Food on this cruise was great!! Way better than our Viking Ocean cruise last year.

Problem with how they handled the low water situation on the river

Seems to be bottom line driven instead of customer satisfaction driven.

Staff , Food, Room first class. Tours the best

We enjoyed the professionalism and friendliness of all staff. All details were taken care of. The worries and concerns were eliminated.
