Disappointed with the river flooding so that we missed Rudesheim and the Middle Rhine with the rains making it hard to see Lorelei. Just bad weather for a couple of days that is not Viking fault. Viking, though, tried its best to continue on as scheduled. Had an excellent guide, Jack, in Kinderdyke. Loved the Black Forest tour.

A most enjoyable experience. The ship, crew, accommodations, tours and food was exceptional. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already reserved another Viking cruise on the Rhone for Spring 2024. Our agent Tina Allen is a joy to work with and she is also planning a large family Caribbean cruise for us in December.

We had a wonderful time! 3 days in Munich at the beginning of our trip was great to rest and get on the European time zone. Oberammergau and the Passion play was unforgettable. We throughly enjoyed the care Viking gives to its travelers. From the first meeting of the Viking reps at the airport, ship swaps because of low Rhine levels, city tours, we always knew what to expect and Viking was very responsive to our needs. We love Viking and since 2005 we have been on 9 voyages with them.

Airlines in US were not but overseas flights were great.
