Great trip with the perfect mix of cruising the Douro and land excursions. Learned a lot about Portugal and the Barcelona extension may have been the most interesting city we’ve visited.

since this wasn't our first Viking cruise we were a little disappointed in the cruise on the Douro.First everyday we had a 1/2 hr-2hr bus ride to get to the town/church/winery whereas in other cruises you stepped off the boat and where in the heart of the town.The food on this cruise was not up to the standards of other cruises,we were in Portugal which has wonderful seafood however that didn't seem to be offered much on the menu. On the plus side the staff as always was wonderful and the hotel in Lisbon was beautiful.

Excellent service by all staff; good food; wish included excursions did not conflict with optional.
