Casual and comfortable attire is highly recommended for onboard activities and excursions. Formal attire is not required for the Captain’s Dinner, however, some guests do like to dress for the occasion. It is suggested to be comfortable, “elegant casual” is appropriate. When visiting places of worship, it is highly encouraged to dress respectfully and conservatively.

Suggested items and apparel include:

- Comfortable walking shoes
- Dressier shoes
- An umbrella and light rain gear
- Sunglasses, sunhat or sun visor
- A warm coat, gloves, water-resistant shoes

It is advised to check the weather of your destination(s) to pack appropriate clothing.

Guests can enjoy fun activities like playing golf at the putting green, sipping on delicious beverages or enjoying a snack at the Lounge and Bar and Aquavit Terrace or getting lost in a great read at the Library.

Tips are completely voluntary and appreciated. You may provide your tips in cash or by credit card (on select itineraries) at the end of your cruise. Tour Escorts and Program Directors are not included with onboard staff, and it is customary to give them tips in cash separately.

For cruises doing a European itinerary, it is recommended to tip in Euros. For sailings going to Russia, Ukraine, China, Southeast Asia and Egypt, tipping in U.S. Dollars is recommended.

Guests can look forward to al fresco or indoor dining with floor-to-ceiling windows at the Aquavit Terrace or Restaurant and will be able to choose from regional and contemporary dishes. Low- salt, gluten-free and vegetarian options are available too.
