Star Pride

Star Pride is the final yacht to emerge from Windstar’s $250 million Star Plus Initiative. She returned to service in 2021 as a fully reimagined, all-suite motor yacht. Originally launched in 1988, the ship was cut in half and lengthened by about 84 feet. The expansion added 50 new suites, new dining venues, and four fuel-efficient engines to replace the original seven. Today, Star Pride carries 312 guests across 156 all-oceanview suites. She measures roughly 12,995 gross tons and 522 feet in length. The experience blends the intimacy of a private yacht with the polish of a newly updated ship. Her smaller size also allows her to sail directly into ports like Saint-Tropez, Portofino, and Bequia – places larger ships often can’t reach.

Inside, even the entry-level Classic Suites feel spacious. They offer separate sitting and sleeping areas, walk-in closets, and double-sink bathrooms. Larger categories include Deluxe and Owner’s Suites, with the option to combine midship Owner’s Suites into a 1,374-square-foot Grand Owner’s Suite. Dining is a standout, with six complimentary venues. Options include AmphorA, Cuadro 44 by Anthony Sasso, Star Grill by Steven Raichlen, Candles, the Yacht Club Café, and 24-hour in-suite dining. The onboard experience is rounded out with the reimagined World Spa, a Fitness and Motion Studio, an infinity pool, and dual whirlpools. At the stern, the signature watersports platform opens directly to the sea, with kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkel gear included.
