I am proud to say I am a member of the travel industry community, serving as a travel consultant for over 22 years. This segment of business has always fascinated and excited me! Along the way, many changes have taken place and travel consultants have had to adapt and have risen to the challenge! When I plan a vacation of any kind, I treat it as if it was my own. What are the goals of this client? What value can I add to this "wish list" so that the financial investment equals or better yet, surpasses, the clients' expectations? My reward or satisfaction is simply hearing and knowing my clients experienced the "WOW" factor. Better said yet..."A vacation is measured in more than dollars, days and nights...it's measured in the memories".
Travel Adventures
My "travel adventures" have taken me to all kinds of extraordinary places in this fascinating world! To name some: French Polynesia, Hawaii 3X, Europe 4X, Alaska 2X, Belize, Caribbean (almost all of these islands), Mexico (almost all resort developments), Copper Canyon and many of our beautiful United States. This world offers such a myriad of cultures within which we can immerse ourselves; I grab onto every experience I can in this "palette of color". I find this to be so true: "Life is like a book...and he who does not travel, reads just one page."
Awards & Certifications
- Through the years I have completed innumerable travel-related courses and have received many certificates of "graduation". "Continuing Education" is one of my prime focuses; I always want to be informed and aware of changes in all facets of the travel industry. I sincerely enjoy reading as many travel trade magazines as possible and attend a variety of travel-related events to stay alert to "what's new". It would be too lengthy to name all the specialist designations I have achieved but to list a few here: Sandals/Beaches Lifetime Gold Member since 1997; Uniworld Grand River Cruise Specialist; Tahiti Destination Specialist; Graduate of College of Disney Knowledge; Mexico Specialist; Hawaii Specialist; Holland America Academy graduate, etc.
