My partner and I share a deep passion for travel, especially cruising, because it allows us to experience many cultures and destinations while remaining immersed in the journey itself. For us, travel isn’t just about seeing a place—it’s about stepping into the rhythm of a destination, tasting its food, walking its streets, and connecting with the culture that makes it unique. Over the years we’ve explored much of the Caribbean and beyond. We’ve stood among ancient ruins of the Maya civilization, snorkeled in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean, and wandered through colorful cobblestone streets in ports throughout the region. One of our most unforgettable adventures was jumping and sliding down the famous 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua in the Dominican Republic—a thrilling experience surrounded by jungle and cascading waterfalls. On another trip we drove from Punta Cana across the island to Santo Domingo, where we stayed in the historic Zona Colonial and explored centuries-old streets, cathedrals, and cultural landmarks. In Puerto Rico, we spent time walking through the vibrant architecture and historic forts of Old San Juan, experiencing the music, food, and energy that make the island so special. Our travels have also taken us across multiple states in the United States, where we love discovering how art, history, and local culture shape each community. Whether it’s visiting museums, historic districts, theaters, or small local cafés, we’re always looking for the ways creativity and culture intertwine with everyday life. We’re currently preparing for an extended European journey next year, where we look forward to exploring historic cities, experiencing world-class art and architecture, and immersing ourselves in centuries of culture. Destinations like Paris, Rome, and Barcelona are high on our list, and we’re excited to experience the history, cuisine, and artistry that make Europe so extraordinary. For us, travel is about curiosity and connection. Every destination has its own story, and every journey adds another chapter. There is still so much of the world on the horizon, and that sense of discovery is what keeps our passion for travel alive.
