I'm Laurie Comstock, Executive Director of Royal Blue Travels - Now a proud partner with Avoya Network. My path of travel has been shaped by creativity, hospitality, and a love for connection. I graduated from Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts as a pastry chef, where I learned to transform simple ingredients into beautiful sweet treats. Before becoming a travel adviser. I spent many years as a salon owner and stylist, standing behind the chair and sharing stories and life experiences. Those conversations taught me that every persons journey is worth honoring. My mission for my guests is to create journeys that feel both expansive with deeply personal, experiences that move you across miles while anchoring you in comfort, belonging and memories to last a lifetime.

My Love for travel began in 2013, when I journeyed through Portugal and Spain, finging myself enchanted by the streets of Seville. I wandered cobblestone alleyways lined with family-owned restaurants, each one offering tapas that felt like a story told in flavor. Ridding in the horse drawn carriage though the streets, outdoor markets brimmed with color and life, and it was there I discovered my lasting love for saffron. I still remember the most beautiful, tasteful espresso I've ever had-rich, bold with a touch of sweetness and unforgettable - I've been chasing that perfect cup ever since. What stayed with me the most though were the people: warm, vibrant and welcoming, embodying a culture that celebrates connection. That trip was more than a vacation, it was the threshold where my passion for travel truly took root.
