About Tracy
I grew up in a family shaped by movement and multicultural roots. My dad served in the Air Force, and my mom was from England, so my childhood unfolded across England, Germany, Italy, and Crete. Every summer we returned to England to visit relatives, explore new places, and soak in the culture.
My mom passed her love of travel on to me—she was always planning the next adventure, and I’ve definitely inherited that spirit. I’m usually traveling on one trip while planning the next two.
What I love most about travel is the culture: finding local restaurants, meeting people, and experiencing life the way locals live it. For me, travel isn’t just about seeing new places; it’s about connecting with them.
Travel Adventures
I’ve been fortunate to explore the world in some unforgettable ways. I’ve cruised on more than 70 ocean and river voyages, each one offering a different window into the places and people along the way. I’ve toured Europe with Globus, taking in the history, culture, and landscapes from a local’s perspective rather than just passing through.
One of my favorite adventures was taking the Orient Express from London to Venice—a journey that felt like stepping back in time. I’ve also traveled to Dubai, where I raced across the sand dunes and even rode a camel, adding a bit of desert adventure to my travel story.
Travel isn’t just something I do; it’s part of who I am. Every trip adds another layer to the way I see the world.
