This morning, a local expert introduces you to beautiful Ljubljana, set along the Ljubljanica River and known for its green spaces, picturesque bridges, sidewalk cafés, and a lively central market. See Prešeren Square, City Hall, Ljubljana University, and the city’s renowned bridges, including the famous Dragon Bridge, a proud symbol of the city. After free time for lunch, travel to Lake Bled, nestled in the Julian Alps. Reach Bled Island by a traditional wooden boat and spend an afternoon in one of the most picturesque places in Slovenia. Perhaps you’ll try the legendary Bled cream cake before returning to Ljubljana.

This morning, depart Ljubljana and learn about life in the Slovenian countryside, past and present. Visit a 150-year-old house, part of Slovenia’s Houses with Tradition, and discover the region’s local heritage.
