Day 1
ARRIVE IN MADRID, SPAIN

MADRID
Masterpieces in Madrid Discover the city's historic grandeur along the boulevards. Admire elegant buildings and views of legendary landmarks, including the Plaza de España monument to Miguel de Cervantes, author of "Don Quixote." Visit the world-famous Prado Museum for further glimpses into Spanish culture and history through its art collection. Enjoy an afternoon and evening at leisure to explore more of this captivating city. MADRID–SEGOVIA–AVILA–SALAMANCA
Spectacular Spain Drive to the historic town of Segovia, enjoy an orientation plus free time to browse and see the incredible Roman Aqueduct. Continue to Avila, admire the magnificent medieval walls, and browse the charming streets before continuing to Salamanca, a city with a rich cultural heritage. Take an orientation walk to the magnificent Plaza Mayor, which throughout history has hosted many events including executions, bullfights, and Christmas Markets! Later, [LOCAL FAVORITE] enjoy a wine tasting with dinner at the Hacienda Zorita, which once hosted Christopher Columbus. SALAMANCA–FÁTIMA, PORTUGAL–LISBON
The Legends of Portugal Cross the border into Portugal and take a scenic drive through the Serra da Estrela Mountain range. Stop in Fatima, one of the most important Marian shrines, to visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, plus free time to browse and have lunch. Continue to Lisbon, capital of Portugal. Late afternoon and evening at leisure to start getting acquainted with this beautiful city. LISBON–AZARUJA–SEVILLE, SPAIN
