Day 1
ARRIVE IN BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA

Arrive in Buenos Aires, the “Paris of South America.” This cosmopolitan city is constantly aglow with European-influenced culture, vibrant sounds and sights, and a distinctly Latin vibe.

Day 2
BUENOS AIRES

After breakfast, set out on a private guided tour of Buenos Aires, beginning along the city’s grandest boulevard to admire the iconic Teatro Colón Opera House, a true symbol of Argentine culture. Continue to Avenida de Mayo and historic Plaza de Mayo, framed by landmarks such as La Casa Rosada, the Cabildo, and the Metropolitan Cathedral, home to the mausoleum of national hero, General San Martín. Explore San Telmo, the city’s oldest neighborhood, before visiting the colorful streets of La Boca and the elegant avenues of Palermo. Conclude your tour at the renowned Recoleta Cemetery, final resting place of Eva Perón, and one of the city’s most memorable attractions. This evening, you may choose to enhance your experience with an optional dinner and traditional tango performance, showcasing Argentina’s world famous, passionate dance. (B) INSIDER PICKS The tango and Argentina go hand in hand. Treat yourself to a visit of a local tango house to see this passionate dance performed in its authentic style, while dining on Argentine cuisine and wine!

Day 3
BUENOS AIRES

Today is free to explore this extraordinary city. Consider an optional excursion to visit a traditional estancia (ranch) to experience the lifestyle of the gauchos. Alternatively, cruise down the Tigre River surrounded by beautiful landscapes and impressive homes. (B) INSIDER PICKS Estancias date back to the 16th century during Spanish colonization when conquistadors were gifted land to raise and breed cattle. Today, these lands and traditions that go along with them have been passed down from generation to generation. Today, you have the chance to step into the traditional, local life of a gaucho and embrace Argentinean heritage during an optional trip to a traditional estancia.

Day 4
BUENOS AIRES–IGUASSU FALLS, BRAZIL

Fly to Iguassu Falls, one of the world’s most awe inspiring natural wonders. Upon arrival, meet your Local Guide for a private tour of the Argentine side of the falls. From a network of boardwalks atop the falls, witness the immense power of the cascades as water plunges more than 300 feet into the dramatic Devil’s Throat below. Later, cross the border into Brazil and enjoy the evening at your leisure. (B)
