What Should I Pack?
The first thing to remember is that you're on vacation and you are onboard Carnival Cruises’ ‘Fun Ships’ to have a good time. Secondly, remember to travel light. Keeping these two pieces of advice in mind are very important for packing.

Casual attire and resort wear is typically appropriate attire onboard and in-port. Shorts, slacks, sundresses, blouses, sandals, etc., are appropriate for women, and clothing for men is just as casual. Travelers might also want to consider bringing along a sweater or jacket for cool evenings and inexpensive rain gear in case of a sudden shower. While restaurants typically have casual dress code, there are also instances where you may visit a specialty restaurant or attend a special Captain’s Cocktail Party and Gala Farewell Dinner that requires business casual or formal attire. For days in port where you will be participating in various shore excursions, you should dress accordingly to the dress codes of the sites you are visiting, as well as bring a pair of sneakers for strenuous walking.

Formal Wear: Men: suit and tie, sport coat, tie and slacks; Women: evening dresses, cocktail dresses; pantsuits.

Casual Resort Wear: Men: sport shorts, slacks; Women: dresses, skirts, shorts, Capri pants.

*Please Note: Shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, and bathing attire are not permitted in the Dining Room during dinner.

customers say

Carnival Glory receives generally positive reviews for its friendly staff, good food, and enjoyable atmosphere, making it a popular choice for families and first-time cruisers. Many guests highlight the excellent service and fun activities, though some note issues with ship maintenance, crowded areas, and inconsistent entertainment. While the value is often praised, there are occasional complaints about food quality, embarkation processes, and the ship's age. Overall, the cruise offers a fun and lively experience, but may not meet the expectations of those seeking luxury or quieter environments.

Service

Service is frequently described as friendly, attentive, and going above and beyond, though a few guests experienced slow or unresponsive service at times.

"Everyone was very good and friendly. Service was great!! Enjoyed the week very much."
"Fun, customer service, value, cleanliness and attention to detail, such as crew members remembering our names and never did I ask a question that was not completely answered on the spot."
"Problem with luggage, repetitious food menu, and the service desk was generally not attentive to our problems, with one exception. Other employees were friendly and helpful."

We had a great time on our cruise. The staff were extremely service oriented, giving us great memories. The food was good but not great overall. I did like the many options available for different eating styles. The options for excursions were not very exciting. The ports were nice, not a lot to do though. The on-board shows were enjoyable.

Our room was amazing. Karen Rao our agent is the best. Appreciate the OBC we received. Ship is old and needs upgrades as does their selection in dining. However, the steakhouse and chefs table were impeccable. Can't rave enough about them.
