Better than expected! AmaMagna was fabulous and the excursions were well planned.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially the cruise director Luis. I would give the a 5 star, but their drink policy is extremely nickel dime. Not only was the selection of liquors and wine mediocre, if you missed the rare times where some drinks were offered, you had to pay for them and nonalcoholic drinks. There should be an option to just avoid this. It’s not the price, it’s just it eliminates this type of cruise from the top tier.

River was high so could not navigate the river. Was more like a bus tour. The crew of the Amamagna really did a spectacular job making sure all of their guests were taken care of. Just wish the river would have been a little more accommodating.

Amawaterways is the best way to travel to Europe. We are super happy and beyond our expectations. Absolutely we recommend it to all friends and family for future travel to Europe

We enjoyed our first river cruise with AmaWaterways. They do an outstanding job. We have been on large cruise ships before and it was nice to have close contact with the cruise Director, the cruise Captain and the cruise Manager. We did miss the room service that we have come to enjoy on a larger cruise ship. Having breakfast via room service to enjoy on the balcony would’ve made for a more restful cruise experience for us. We have enjoyed this on the larger ships. Also, the cruise was a wine cruise, and we thought we could ignore that part of it. But not being wine drinkers, it was pretty intense. There was a strong focus on wine. If a couple are not wine drinkers, I would not recommend going on a wine cruise. And finally, we did not receive our documents for the cruise until I called our travel agent, one week before the cruise. She contacted AmaWaterways and they emailed them to us that day. I would have expected that the documents would have been sent to us without me having to ask for them. I felt like this was a lack of attention to detail.

It may not have been blue, but it was beautiful. Wonderful time, great ship, outstanding cruise manager, nice shipmates and satisfying cuisine.

The cruise was perfect, even though the weather wasn't. Dejan and the crew of the AmaMagna were very attentive . David, our dining room waiter was a joy to be with at meals. Even our wine stewardess was a perfect lady. She always had a smile as she filled our glasses and explained what we were drinking. The tours were well organized and the guides were top notch. We have recommended AMA to more of our friends, and we are looking forward to our next cruise. Ian & Mary Ellen

You have thought of everything room excellent , good food, great staff, David in the dinning room, your wonderful events coordinator took such good care of us all. Don’t loose that event gentleman as he is really kind and thoughtful on the boat and in Prague, he took great care of his people, not sure how to spell his name something like Dash. Thank him for me! The events off the boat, tours were very interesting. All in all a wonderful boat adventure. By the way the shore guides were very informative and fun! Thank you

From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. The cabin was extremely large with tons of closets, the food was outstanding, the crew always had a smile on their faces & the tours were very good. Overall, no complaints

Everything was perfect- the room, the food, the attentive, wonderful service and the ship was magnificent.

Tours were excellent. All went without a hitch. Food was superb. Airline (British Airways) was the only issue we had.

My trip was fabulous from the first day til the last. The Amamagna was absolutely beautiful; great food, amenities, and spectacular room. The pre cruise stay was excellent. Our Cruise Director Nicolai was the best out of all of my river cruises. The daily excursions were well run. I would highly recommend this cruise and company!

All the markets were well stocked with all kinds of different products. AmaWaterways did a wonderful job of organizing all the trips. The staff and food was excellent. Thank you AmaWaterways

Excellent service, beautiful ship, amazing places

This cruise was amazing! The sights were unbelievable and the tours were wonderful. It was very well organized and the staff and crew aboard the ship were the best. Extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. My only recommendation would be that there be more entertainment on board and I wish that we had had more free time to explore on our own but realize that due to scheduling that really wasn’t possible. Would definitely consider another river boat cruise!

Our Danube trip on the AMAMagna was superb. Thank you Radi, our cruise manager, and Robert, our hotel manager, for making our time so enjoyable. Food was excellent, service was top notch. We would expect nothing less of AMA and we weren’t disappointed.

We finally got to take our Fiftieth Anniversary Cruise and it was a winner!

Our river cruise down the Danube River was great! The AMA Magna ship is gorgeous, and our room was amazing. It was spacious with so much storage. The food was good and we had 4 restaurants to choose from. I would not say the food was outstanding but it was tasty. All of the tours were well organized with great guides. We had the precruise and postcruise extensions which we well worth the price. The hotels were very nice and the tours great as well. AMAWaterways met us at the airport and arranged for all the transfers. They had a representative at the airport when departing to ensure all went well, which was a nice touch. The tours were good. They were the typical city tours and offered bike rides as well. We would have liked a little more time just cruising in the daytime to enjoy the upper deck and balcony while seeing the countryside. It was our first river cruise and from what I observed from the cruises around us, it was the nicest.

Everything about this cruise was 5 Star - the boat, the staff, the itinerary, the stops, the excursions, the food....fabulous all the way around!

The AMA Magna is a beautiful ship and very spacious. We had a fabulous stateroom, with king bed, lots of closet space.sofa, large shower with double sinks. Food was very good at all 4 restaurants, especially dinners and breakfast Only comment is the lunch menu could have been better. Great choice of excursions with easy and active walkers. Our social director was amazing always going out of her way to be helpful. The AMA Magna sure spoils you in every way
