Excellent

The staff of the Amaverde made our cruise! Every person was friendly, helpful and fun. The ship was spotless and the excursions were well planned. I can’t wait to go again someday.

Food was mediocre but plentiful and well presented . All fish entrees were (fishy tasting. )Jelena was fantastic and did a great job. Tour guides and entire crew were all very pleasant.

Fantastic river cruise

My Avoya travel agent, Sarah Weiner, is a very pleasant, meticulous and efficient agent. She made great reservations for the flight and the cruise. She kept me up to date on everything, sent me all my documents, was very helpful and wished me a wonderful trip. I would use her again. The cruise was well organized from the moment that AMAWaterways met me upon arrival to the moment that AMAWaterways dropped me off at the airport for the trip back home, the ship was spotless, the food was excellent, the staff was diligent and helpful, and I saw a part of the world that is rich in history, culture and structures. Furthermore, I needed to unpack only once.

A wonderful trip to see the history and beauty of Central and eastern Europe. Friendly staff on board and super knowledgeable guides. Great choices of activities. Lucked out on the weather but ended up stopping a bit short of the planned end due to water levels. Cruise staff were great on adjusting for that while maintaing the excursions and such Highly recommend

The bathroom shower and fixtures were cheap-not up to Viking standards with heates bathroom floors. The food was not as good as I expected it to be. Pork neck? Really? The food for much of the time was disappointing.

Weather was hot but not overly. Ship accommodations were very comfortable. Staff went out of their way for all. Food was always top of the line with many choices for each meal.

AMAWaterways did an amazing job of making guests feel special and of managing every detail of our journey. The service was outstanding and the excursions were excellent. Our Avoya Travel coordinator was priceless, assisting our group with every aspect of our travel and ensuring we enjoyed every amenity offered.

Awesome trip with excellent service.

The Christmas Markets cruise surpassed our expectations! The communication and detailed information that we received before the trip even began was both helpful and increased our anticipation for the cruise. We have never before received such excellent and detailed information before we even left. The coordination and organization of travel transfers from and to airports, and for each excursion was impeccable. Communication was always clear, with just enough details to make things smooth and easy. The ship was lovely, and the cruise manager and ship crew were amazing! Everyone was friendly, personable, and executed everything in ways that made things go smoothly. They made everything seem easy, which indicates how hard they worked to provide the very best experience and service. There were lots of Christmas surprises for all of the guests throughout the trip, and it was really fun. The excursions were outstanding, and every tour guide was professional, friendly, informative, and well organized. Each excursion was interesting, and the guides were able to answer every question and provide rich presentations that were accessible through the use of microphone/listening devices. We can't say enough wonderful things about our cruise manager, Nicola. He was always professional, while making everything fun with his great sense of humor and quick wit. He was obviously very experienced, but nonetheless enthusiastic about hosting the trip. We would be happy to go on any future trip that he leads! We opted to add both the pre and post trips to our booking, and had excellent experiences during our extended time in Budapest and the Czech Republic. The hotel accommodations were excellent, and there were many options of things to see and do. Some of our favorite trip highlights were before we were even on the ship. We were thoroughly impressed with our AMA cruise and recommend it as a high-end cruise experience for anyone. After we returned home, we even got a postcard from the crew and ship captain, thanking us for being their guest. We've never received a post-trip, personally written thank you from any other cruise or travel company. AMA goes the extra mile for their guests!

An amazing cruise visiting the Christmas markets of Budapest, Austria, Germany and Prague along the Danube! The sites, food, history and ambiance were magical! I would highly recommend this itinerary and this cruise line, ship and crew!

Ama is amazing as so was this cruise

Good ship, food, care, itinerary, excursions and operation. Some unfortunate deviation from itinerary which was due to low level of Danube so not of Ama's making but all handled safely and extremely well by Ama.

It was fabulous. The food, service and crew were very good and accommodating. All the excursions ran like clockwork. Our rooms were exceptional; like being in a 5 star hotel. Loved the smaller ship too.

A huge thank you to Lisa Long for booking the trip for us. She was always available to answer all of our questions. This was our first cruise and it was the trip of a lifetime. We enjoyed the sights and sounds of Eastern Europe. The tour guides were entertaining and knowledgeable. The ship had the finest wait staff. We experienced first class service, great food and fabulous entertainment. Outstanding!!
